"Polishing" seems to be a term for carbon post filtration, which removes chlorine and chemicals that could damage which ever type of reverse osmosis membrane they may be using. The reverse osmosis stage would remove dissolved solids and virtually anything larger than a water molecule.
believe it or not there is no fluoride in the aquafina water because of the reverse osmosis process meaning aquafina is the only water one can buy without fluoride in it so im only buying aquafina from now on
they purify it with reverse osmosis, which may sound good, but it removes the minerals and rarely hydrates the body properly, according to Dr. wilson, M.D. This isn't spam, I'm just showing my source.
@DosToltec if your relying on your water (unless it comes from a glacier or volcanic aquifer) for mineralization of your body your making a big mistake.....most trace minerals come from foods and the soils have all been de-minearlized badly...thats why you should be taking a trace mineral colloidal supplement.
@exile341 Yeah don't you know what UV rays are think for a moment the water that comes down from rain are hit with a lot of UV rays from the sun its no different than what they use in process the only way they could make the water radioactive is if they add radioactive elements to it or hit it will a lot of neutrons
@exile341 Well the rule of thumb is after 10 half life's a radioactive source is gone in the case of japan the main source of water elevated radioactivity was radioactive iodine which has about a half life of 8 days after 80 days its all gone
She sounds like she is reading all of this off of a piece of cardboard. They most likely just put her infront of the camera due to her slutty looks in order to tempt the viewer focus on her instead of thinking more deeply about the hydro-7 process...
i love aquafina , great taste, 3 particules of solids per million, less plastic in the bottles , some may say its to lower the cost , but it helps anyway , recycle te bottles !!!!!
Aquafina and dasnai are two i trust to be filtered correctly. I tested both with a TDS meter, aquafina was 0. Dasani about 30 ppm. They do add minerals to dasani
also tested for flouride in both with test strips, both came back negative. I personally have a RO at home with UV and general the TDS is 7ppm and when i change out filters twice a year, its around 70 ppm at change. Our water is very hard, over 500 ppm
I use RO water for my reef tanks. I RO tap water then add the correct amount of salt to it. I have tasted RO water and it is horrible tasting precisely because all the minerals have been removed. There is no way they can RO water without adding minerals back to it. Otherwise it would taste terrible and nobody would buy it. This is pure marketing hype. The equipement they show couldn't purify enough water for a small research lab much less be the equipment for large scale production.
@trhisdone I have RO filtration in my house. The Water from my 6 stage filter tastes entirely neutral. Reverse Osmosis does not remove odours thats the job of charcoal filter. Dasani reminiralizes their water to give it richer taste. Whether u reminiralize the water or not, you still get almost 100% pure H2O with RO filtration.
stupid bitch god she is just another one of those company's bitch or man-whore who lies to the media and tries to get their profits up i can bet you that almost every genric bottled water has been purified through reverse osmois and the other steps before it. now in my opionion the other steps do jack shit and aquafina taste like clorinated water i just wanted to know exactly what make aquafina think they are so special
@timberland215 Exactly... you "guess" which isn't exactly a very good one. That's like saying you washed your car just because you drove it through the rain instead of taking it to a car wash.
The only reason why I am here watching this is beacause I opened up the bottle, took a drink and it tastes like clorinated water. What filter failed this bottle? bottle stamped OCT 18 10

Flouride and radiation = bad for humans. Fact. Fuck Pepsi! Drink spring water instead!

@ghostgate82 spring water can be badly contaminated with halides and tri halomethanes.....reverse osmosis destroys fluoride.......

Do you guys use aspirin or any acid to "polish" and maintain it "pure"? why the PH of this water is under 6,5?

If you guys think this water is actually purified, the go distill about a gallon of water into a sterile cup. talk about pure :)

How does one "polish" water? You gave a brief explanation of some of the steps but left out that one.

yes
i want to know what they mean by saying they
"polish" the water

This is probably the step where they add fluoride and other toxins into the water that they don't want you to know about.

@twistedmyths They lace the water with cyanide O.O
