  • Is this a nice area to live? I might move there. or somewhere near there.

  • They tried this kind of bus stop setup in Montreal, QC, Canada(on Pie-IX street) and it failed. Too many accidents. I should post a video response some day. You can always check Google streetview.

  • My house is situated on this street.

This bus lanes are reserved for buses during rush hour. Other times it is bus priority.

Have been paved in a different color line color line up and down the bus lanes are to prevent a reverse run of the race who are not familiar.

  • Cool ....

    Love Apita hehehe :-)

  • Diggin' this new channel!

  • Thank you for the cool video.

  • try drivin that when ur drunk

  • CERCL

  • @ 0:50 wut?? you have the right-turning lane on the left of the ongoing traffic lane?

  • So, you are allowed drive on the bus lane?

  • so when somebody drew the road on a map freehand they thought that was the final draft

  • Yeah, Dekimachi is definitely one of the odder concepts I've seen for a road. I used to drive it every day going to work. Using the bus lane is definitely faster, but you have to be in an agressive mood, and it sucks when you get stuck behing a bus.

That elevated bus road (that links with surface streets) is also unique to Nagoya, apparently.

  • i dont think i can drive in japan id definitely crash into something

  • I think if you can drive in Japan without crashing you are probably the best driver in another country. Believe me.

  • OK, so I noticed some cultural differences between Nagoya and Tokyo right away. Not only is the speed limit dramatically increased, but even the people seem to walk with a shockingly fast gait. Finally, in Tokyo we don't use the same city wide funky music blaring speaker system. Interesting! :)

  • Wow, way to make something as simple as driving complicated Japan! xD

  • @JapanScene are the colored sections of the road some kind of "Highway"?

  • @BlaffingDream The colored sections are the bus lanes.

  • @JapanScene So, if you want to avoid the red buses, you get in the gray lane, and if you want to avoid the gray buses, you get in the red lane?

  • @JapanScene And it's alright to drive on those in a car?

  • All the traffic lights blink like that? That seems kinda dangerous if you happened to glance up at the light when its not on.

  • @Standard420247 they don't actually blink. That just how it comes out in the camera sometimes

  • That street should be a mandatory part for the driving test.. but you also have to be intoxicated.

  • wow, that was a nice day!!! we haven't had any nice days for a while here in Oregon...

thanks that was a fun err... drive!!! ^-^

  • CERCL

  • I'd crash into oncoming traffic probably.

  • You lost me about 50 miles ago

  • Like

  • At first sight, this looks a little confusing.

  • AAAAHHHHH!!!!!! why are the roads different colors?!?!? that would freak me out more than i already am if i were driving on that road lol

  • Another nice video, something about driving videos I really enjoy. =)

  • CERCL ;P

  • White cars seem to be pretty popular in Japan. Here in Germany people go for the darker colours I guess.

  • Looks crazy man, but then...I hate driving in any built up areas.

  • 日通トラック倉庫 I can spot those Nippon Express trucks anywhere!!! What kind of goodies are in that warehouse??!!!!

  • LOVE THE BEGINNING!
