  • This is darling

  • You guys are awesome...thanks keeping the clogging REAL and not jazzed up.

  • Hey now. What they do is great as well. If people didn't incorporate new into old, we'd still be in the Renaissance Era.

  • Actually, you're half right. Unfortunately, more and more of original clogging steps are being left out because it's not "flashy" enough. While I'm all for progress, it's important not to forget the roots of clogging and let those show often.

I danced in NC a couple of times with a different group. While a dance studio was $65/mo and it was the modern type of dance I used to, I chose to participate with a group that did a kind of a mix of clogging and Irish, and there were no dues. It was fun!

  • Bleadbelly1 sent me this.I love it.*****

  • Real fine! thanks for posting.

  • Wow, what a fun time that looks like. Glad to see clogging to old-time music is still alive and well (that was a 2007 routine right?). Most of the clogging posted these days is interesting but nothing like I was doing back in the late 70's in the DC area with a group call the Footloose Cloggers. I remember seeing the Apple Chill cloggers at halftime at a NCAA. I see the great dancing has continued.

  • The music's good-could be Chet Atkins Boo Boo Stick beat sort of thing

  • Very smooth, all of you. I am so glad to be back in (ChapelHill) town so I may see you more often!

  • Wow! I especially like the "a capella" part at the end. Mui awesome!

  • Sharp!
