Haha. Shot for buying a hybrid... Im guilty. I got a crz and its faster than my 04 tundra and my 03 silverado z71 both with v8s. Oh but i guess my crz does get over 40 mpg on a regular basis... yeah i probably should be shot but i like to be the one doing the shooting around these parts.

As for the reliability issues your mother seems to be having, my old mans last 3 cars were a 1998 BMW 520i SE, 2003 BMW 520i m-sport, and now has a 2005 BMW 525i m-sport. and genuinly the only thing that has broken on all of them was on the 2005, a coil pack went wrong, £45 fix. Don't mean to sound like an ass but maybe its the better quality fuel in the UK.

You can not drift with FWD. This is powerslide.....

@kazkoks Powerslides involve being on the "power" or gas/accelerator to get the tail out on a car using its power... hence why its called a powerslide.

This is lift off oversteer, where when you lift off the pwer in a FWD car, the front wheels slow down, and the rears continue to travel at the same speed, causing the rear to slide past the front when turning
