@Overhazard When he turned into a trophy. He's floating over the edge between attacks, so when he gets turned into a trophy he usually just falls down and u have to catch him in the air.

You know the time limit on Meta Ridley actually makes it a whole lot easier. Since if you run out of time you can just continue straight at the fight. At least that's what I do. I actually try NOT to defeat him if I haven't got the trophy, and just either wait until the time runs out, or try and get the trophy. Also, I go on Easy Mode so he's slower and easy to be made into a trophy (I do have a Trophy Stand Drops + 30 sticker on as well).

how many times would you have to play in a mode other than intense to get the trophies to drop. also is Intense the only mode you can play to get them in there trophy forms?

@lordofninjas1 That depends on the difficulty. The higher the difficulty, the more often Trophy Stands show up.

All difficulties allow you to turn bosses into Trophies. If you're palying on Easy or Normal, however, it will probably take a long time before a Trophy Stand appears.

The easy way: Place a Trophy Stand Drops chance to your desire character, then that character must be in your active group. (Beware if that character was KO'ed)

The hard way: Play higher level so that Trophy Stand can increase drop accuration

i got this stupidley.....i mean ridley fly over the stage and charge over me (the first atak that ridley does in this video) and i threw the trophie :) and i got it but freaking meta ridley is freaking on the out of edge each time u hit him he is more far away from the falcon flyer

if you co-op to get a boss trophy and if you give both character the bigboss sticker and then it would give 60 drop rate to trophy stands right?

I believe you don't get any bonus for having more than one Big Boss sticker. The stands will appear at the same rate as if only one player had the sticker.

No. They'll appear on any difficulty. But they appear more often on harder difficulties.

They do appear. It's just in any difficulty level not Very Hard or Intense, they'll only show up every once in a while.

I fought this guy like 5 or 6 time for his trophy. I found that if you time it right you can hit him when he slams onto the plantform in an atempt to smash you, it's the best opertunity to get him. As for meta Ridly, I got him in one try by damaging him to an apropriate level and waiting till he was right above the ship.

What stage is Ridley or Meta Ridley? How do you get back to the stage you were fighting Ridley on because I just fought Meta Ridley and I found him i the "Great Mazes" thing and now it doesn't have the door that leads to Meta Ridley. This is for SSE.

You need to beat the final boss first. Once you do, every stage becomes selectable.

Ridley is in one of the floating island stages (I'm not sure which, as they all look the same to me); and Porky is in "The Ruined Zoo."

I've seen Subspace Emissary guides on GameFAQs; if I remember right, they should all tell where the bosses are.

A tip to those pissed off by his constant accidental suicides: do what i do. Upon seeing a bomb or something harmful, run for it and throw it off the stage.

Meta Ridley is in the Subspace Bomb Factory, and no, you can only get boss trophies in the Subspace Emissary.

Nice tip there, but Ridley swoops pretty fast so it'll only work if you're using a fast character who can beat Ridley there. Blast Boxes, unfortunately, can't be thrown very far.

For Trophy Stands, no. You have to get the Master Hand and Crazy Hand trophies in different ways. (I forgot how though.)

You need to stand on the very edge or throw the stand at Ridley as he's attacking. Ridley and Meta-Ridley are very very hard to get, so you'll need to be patient.

Yeah, considering that it takes about a second to fling that Trophy Stand. It'd all depend on how long it takes Meta-Ridley to attack.

I despise the Ridley Trophy. Every time I'm actually able to hit him with the trophy stand, it's too far away from the stage, and so it just falls into oblivion.

Actually, Meta-Ridley seemed to spend a bit more time above actual ground than on the edges. However, the incredibly long stage preceding it is more than enough to despise Meta-Ridley even more so.

(Also, it's kind of funny that I got the Ridley trophy right after posting that first comment about how I couldn't do it)

hen he DOES stay above the Blue Falcon, however, he's getting ready for an attack. It's hard to time the Trophy Stand throw so that he's in range but before he can attack you.

I threw the Stand when he rips the ground with his tail stand about half the stage away and toss that is what I did.

Ugh Ridley and his Metal Form were the most annoying boss trophies to get, hands down.

Both have a tendency to accidently kill themselves by running through explosives at low health, and then you have to do the whole thing over again! And then you have to wait forever for the stands to appear, which doesn't help with Meta and his 2 minute time limit.

But I got them eventually, thank god.

Yeah. First of all, there's the two minute timer, and the fact that Meta Ridley is flying over a gap most of the time, so if you hit him with the Trophy Stand, the trophy'll just fall down and be lost.

5th continued on some of MR's attacks he flies above the ship, that is the best time to trophitize it

it's actually not that bad

1st pick someone such as fox who can hit ridley when he's not over the ship (spam laser)

2nd damage meta ridley until less than 1/6 of health or so

3rd let a couple character's die if trophy stand hasn't appeared yet as this will cause a random item to spawn (maybe a trophy stand)

4th if you don't get a trophy stand- kill yourself so you don't have to do the stage over again and can resume from the boss fight.

5th use trophy stand when MR is ^

just practice as much as possible,memorize their attack patterns and try again if you fail. It will get easier. Nothing is impossible not even intense boss rush mode. Btw using stickers to get trophy stand doesn't mean you stink, it just means you want more opportunities to trophitize a rare/hard enemy. I use stickers too.

I use stickers that increase Trophy Stands too. I just don't have them for everybody, so I tend to just use Ness, Lucas, Mr. Game & Watch, Yoshi, and a few others.

I make a lot of mistakes by nature, however, so I know some things WILL be impossible for me or nearly so.

After you clear the Great Maze, the enemies will no longer appear. It's fine when you're still doing the Great Maze, especially if you're playing on a higher difficulty level, but once you're finished, you have to face the bosses where you first saw them.

Shucks, that sucks. I will have to use Ike (my person with increased Trophy Stand +7) against Meta Ridley and Tabuu the only two bosses I have not got trophies for yet. Also I just got Ridley today on my 4th try I kept killing him with Meta Knight's Shuttle Loop when he does the swoop from the Background.

I figured out that if you duck when Ridley does that move when he charges to you, you dodge it! It works even if he is the CLOSESEST to the ground!

Well it usually always comes up when your on the intense difficulty. Then the chance of it appearing keeps going down as the difficulty gets easier from Intense.

You shouldn't expect it to come up towards the end though. I just got lucky here. Sometimes, I have to spend a few minutes dodging the boss's moves until a Trophy Stand shows up, like what happened with Galleom.
