@17jn Yeah, it's disappointing that he left but I guess he felt that there were no more challenges left for him in the WWE. He'd become World Champion 3 times already and smashed a vast array of wrestlers many of which he did cleanly.

As a result, he wanted to move on to something new that he felt would give him a fresh challenge which was at the time, football and later on, shoot fighting.
