do your research. obama knows bill ayers from just a couple of brief meetings as a guy who lived in his neighborhood. there's nothing wrong in spending some time in a neighbors living room getting to know him. ayers was pardoned by the president and is a professor at the univ of chicago. he carried out his attacks (which are understandable if it was in response to america mowing down civilians in vietnam) when obama was 8 years old!

What is more worth looking at is McCain's part in the Savings and Loan failures in the 80's as a member of the Keeting 5 (along with George Bush's brother Neil), and Palin's association with the Alaska sucessionist movement (both being well documented).

Obama didn't get in trouble for knowing Ayers. Obama didn't do anything corrupt with Ayers. Obama didn't go to court like others (Keating 5). Obama didn't drive his wife into taking drugs during the trial turmoils.

As I said earlier, this spin by the left is so absurd it's laughable. Obama was ~38 when Ayers said he wished he had done more bombing. Bombing, being unrepentant AND saying you wish you had done more, are all abhorrent things in and of themselves. It isn't just the initial act. If McCain was friends with someone who USED to bom abortion clinics, and NOW says "i wish I had bombed more" he'd be rightly crucify. So be consistent, and crucify your messiah
