  • Terrible. The way R.Emanuel handled the media/announcement was an absolutely horrible omen: he made himself the story, all about him, instead of President-Elect Obama. Media hungry, baiting, obnoxious, attenion-hound, self-centered, and very consistent with his awful reputation as a human being. Be careful of this guy, Mr. President-Elect. Rahm is looking out for numero uno, himself, not you. I can see the need for a pit-bull as COS, but this guy appears to be a big jerk. He'll turnoff folks.

    Now barack better have my money for a new car, gas, housing and college or it will be a short four years. If they can buy out those banks they can pay me off as well. How would I look in a BMW M3? Now I need me one of those CEO jobs.

  • Wow it was not my intention to imply that I thought this was a "good" choice. It is a interesting choice considering Obama's rhetoric about bringing us together. I also am curious about how this choice will be interpreted by Arabs who endorsed Barrack specially when you consider Emanuel's history with the Israeli Army and his father's involvement with rgun Zvai Leumi. I thought the term interesting was pretty diplomatic.
