  • @vladuchitaristu

Hi I don't paint the bones .It is the natural color, Sum carvings I have soak in Tea to give a rustic look. And at times I have used a die but not often to hi-light markings. I hop that helps, TJ

  • that dragon are awesome.

  • These are fantastic. I just got into bone and wood carving and I am really excited to see where it will take me, if im half as good as you someday I will be very pleased.

  • Bty how much did you sell that twin dragon one for? Is it all by hand or do you use dremel tools?

  • @thepipekeeper Hi sorry Im not sure which dragon you mean as ive made a few. I use an air grinder as it has smoother action and has a better horse power. I use a dremel sometimes but find the vibration too much to use all the time.

  • These carvings are awesome...I loved the hidden dragon one how long did that take you, n where do you get the bones? Looked like the base of an enk's horn? Keep it up

  • Thanks for the positive comments. The base is the deer coronet from New Zealand breeding stags. I get all the coronets from Taranaki, NZ. The dragon took about 1 week to create.
