@0RockaRolla0 I don't know, from what I've listened too Steve acts as the mediator between the two which works really well, he's really good at moving the show along when it might get to much and generally he'll throw up topics, plus he stops Ricky from talking over the top too, it wouldn't work as well without him, it's like a car engine, you might not see it but it's essential that its there to get the car going. @0RockaRolla0 A lot of the time it does seem that way as Ricky and Karl are such strong personalities, but he definitely has some classic moments.

His anecdotes on attempting to pull women or about his dad buying gifts are hilarious. He also does this really great thing with Ricky that's hard to explain where they enact a hypothetica scenario and each do a voice of the people involved.

That's not the first time Karl has made a joke about the way Steve looks. Another time Steve was talking about being propositioned by a hooker and Karl says something like "They approach men who they think can't get girls because they look like they've got something wrong with them". He was pissed of then and you could tell Steve was pissed off by this too. You could even hear him breathing out through his nose, then at the end say "its just that I'm not an invalid".

I think some of you are over-analysing this to be some sort of genius bit of comedy by Steve and Ricky. Most of the comments here are puerile attempts to avoid the fact that what Karl said would have offended and upset Steve.

Steve's got a thin skin, as is shown any time Karl makes fun of him. This time Karl straight out called him an invalid.

Ricky tried to move on, uncomfortably, knowing what Karl said was over the line.
