One of the BEST movie-makers who could equally entrall the "commercial" as well as "art" movie audiences...None of his movies were stupid like some purely melodramatic commercial flicks or toooo arty which can sometimes become boring...He achieved a perfect blend and his movies were both entertaining and sensible.
