I've got the M22i's driven by a modest Marantz M-CR603 all in one . Beautful looking and sounding speakers, and they hardly ever get mentioned on the Hi-Fi forums. I can't understand why this is as I've heard them up against similar priced Quad, B&W, Monitor Audio and Mission speakers and whilst all those makes are good in different ways, the Epos are the best IMHO.
Thinking of a monster Harman Kardon HK990 amp next upgrade. Will the M22i's benefit from the extra power you reckon?
@TomahawkKid56 Yes, the M22i's will lap up the extra power. They're rated at 50-300 Watts so the HK amp sits nicely in the middle of that range, although I've no experience of it's sound quality compared to other amps like the Creek Destiny or Roksan M2. Try to get a home demo of some amps.
@mikegtar Hi again. I've now got my Epos M22i's with a Creek Evo 2 amp/cd combination. Sounds sweet! As a matter of interest what do you use for speaker cable and interconnects?
@TomahawkKid56 I used Chord Signature and Chord Chameleon+ interconnects and Chord Odyssey speaker cable. Yes the Creeks are good looking pieces of kit, quite slimline but nice and solid in appearance and feel as well. Hope you enjoy your system and the music.
Yes, the Epos sound better than the Spendors. The sound is very different between the two types of speakers. The Spendors sound "dull" by comparison with the Epos and the Epos give a much bigger 3 dimensional soundstage. I think the metal tweeter of the Epos has a lot to do with this compared with the soft tweeter in the Spendors. Perhaps with different amplification (e.g. Cyrus) the Spendors would sound better.

Thanks. The movie clip doesn't really show the system very well. I'm hoping to get a new mobile phone soon with better video recording facilities.
Yes, the Epos speakers are very realistic and have a nice balance between the bass, mid and treble. They are better than my spendors.
The artist is Natacha Atlas Album : Ana Hina Track : Black is the Colour
