@blusismylife Hes a gifted player no doubt,but...dont play like him,play like you!!This is what my Father used to say to me. Dad was a classically trained pianist, I am a non technical non note reading ,with no lessons,play by ear.

@RocknLester2011 Very good point.. there is nothing wrong with gaining inspiration and learning techniques from various artists but trying to completely emulate someone won't get you far.. maybe a few open mics but that's it. Eric Gales took influences from MANY people and mixed it down to a style of his own that is unique. Finding yourself within the talent makes you a real artist.
