That was the best show. I watched the whole show. The set was beautiful. The set was so dramatical and classy. I loved the fact that they had the 5 past lead and supporting actors/actressess to come out and speak individually to each nominee. I was surprised that Cruz won. Didn't want her to win. Wanted Viola to win. And not b/c she's black. Makael, you were getting so sensitive when it came down to Bey. I didn't like that . And you know I love you. But her dress was a mess!

Hugh Jackman was really good! I watched the show in Belgium.. without subtitles , and I still could understand his jokes xD I tought it was one of the first years that you didn't see the host reading his lines on the autocue! Very proud of the actresses nominated for lead and supporting roles, they all did superb. Taraji P.Henson need to take the award winning roles that she will soon be offered because an Oscar is next for her. Meryl Streep legened in the art of acting superb.

This was actually the first year that i watched the entire show (i did snooze off for like 10 min though, hehe) and it wasn't bad. I went insane for Kate Winslet when she won Best Actress because she deserved it more than anybody. She has been doing credible acting roles for over 10 years now, it's about time that she got the proper recognition. I'm also looking forward to seeing "Slumdog Millionaire".

I really did not like the academy awards. I thought it was too boring, but I love beyonce and hugh jackman's performance. I thought I was going to cry when Heath Ledger won for Batman. He really did I good job with that movie and he really did deserve it. I really wanted Taraji henson to when for benjaman button. It was ok but they really need to do better with the academy awards because they are so boring every year.
