On TV, the dogs do comply but often they're being forced to - you can tell by their body language: tail down, mouth closed, ears back, eyes dilated... I argue that motivating leadership is far more effective than leading through intimidation.

I disagree with how he went about aquiring a dog, he should have rescued from a shelter or breed rescue instead of supporting breeders and the over population of pet dogs.

I love Cesar and his dogs and this is a very good video for showing how to get a good dog if you decide to get one from a breeder. I just can't help but be dissapointed that he supports the HSUS.

Cesar is the Man! He has helped not only dogs, but as well as families. He has changed the way they handle themselves with calm and assertive energy. He deserves an award of some sort. There aren't many people who portray these kinds of skills and yet be so humble. I don't think even Cesar knows how many lives he has affected. Thank you Cesar for giving all of us fundamental rules for everyday life!

cesar, i am glad you showed people about what they should do when they want to adopt a dog from a good breeder. your info is always appreciated by me and my family. even though my dogs can't talk i think they probably appreciate you too because you given us lots of good information so we could take care of them better. thanks for helping me raise 3 happy dogs!

Cesar, thank you so much for this video! While I prefer if possible to adopt from a shelter/rescue, I appreciate you putting it out there the importance of checking out the breeder background and making sure they are responsible breeders!

Also the rest of the info was perfect! Learning about the dog, the breed, his characteristics and so on is so important to understand BEFORE you get the dog!
