I just about played this one until the cartridge melted as a kid. Then one drunken saturday night out with the boys we hooked up the old NES to my 52" HDTV. GLORIOUS. haha. This game is so rad.

Oh my God, the times, the times!!! It makes me really nostalgic it hurts, this was obsessive for me, I was great at this game. I tried for months to see if I got any clue to the name of this game because I didn't remember it, but now you just brought back all the joy!!! Worth the search that took like 3 months!!

This game rocked!! Way ahead of its time with the detailed weapons and ship repair options etc. It got hard later on though.

I just spent a day rehabilitating my old nes. I cleaned it . resprung the 72pin chunk. and found a way to disable the lockout chip that causes the "blinkies". and I picked up a new copy of Galaxy 5000. If your nes gets fussy google how to do theese things there prety easy. and save alot of missury
