you know, i like these guys, and i love their comics, but i was kinda disappointed when i found out what they really looked like :/ why do they try so hard to make themselves look so differently than their alter egos. like i love how katie tiedrich looks almost exactly like her comic book self i was like "holy shit" when i saw her in the video interview. i thought her cap was a bit exaggerated in the comics, but then i saw it irl and was like wow

because gabe and tycho in the comics aren't alter egos, they're just characters. they've reiterated this a lot of times
