@Bawbiedoll101 Yes, I had a lot of trouble with Vixy too. I haven't used it in a long time and since then YouTube has really changed. So I don't know if Vixy works at all anymore. The last successful YouTube downloads I did were using FireFox's download helper.

I don't know what to tell you.

@RockerWolf100 No arguement here! I'm not disagreeing with Bawbiedoll101 either. Though it initally did work for me, I've had trouble using Vixy from the very beginning.

I haven't downloaded from YouTube in a long time and at this time, I honestly don't know what works and what doesn't anymore.

The point of leaving my Vixy video online is that it still shows the basic steps needed by many download sites.

@dessireeguy My video is quite old and more than likely outdated. Vixy didn't work every time, even when I made the video. I believe that I pointed that out too. Since this video was made YouTube has changed their format and as I understand it, many downloaders no longer work as they once had.

I have not downloaded a YT video in a very long time, so I don't know what works and what doesn't any more. My last successful download was with the Firefox downloader add-on.

@sgmccartney I haven't downloaded in a long time. Is vixy still around? The last time I downloaded I had pretty good luck using the download helper with Firefox.

I tryed to download a You Tube video with RealPlayer.The first time I installed it I found it to be easy, all I had to do was to wait for the download video in the upper right corner and put it into a library to burn later on. After reinstalling it again it's doesn't show it anymore, now you right click it where it says setting, download, adobe. It doesnt work like it used to it was so fast when I first installed it,what changed?
