  • To the top comment: DAMN STRAIGHT

  • When things looked so promising.

  • Sound's like the Japanese version had better voice acting.

  • Stpid japanese commercials, the script, translated, sounds awkward to americans, and they made it go by too fast.

  • This probably would've work better as a 3DS game...

but at least it'll be known as the most polarizing Metroid game ever, surprisingly even more the the much more often forgotten and conceptually hilarious Metroid prime pinball! I liked the gameplay, hated the story. This is probably one of the most underrated and overrated games of this gen. (and maybe more)

  • The voice actor here sounds a lot more expressive

  • This game is a MASTERPIECE. Fuck the haters!

  • @whostolecarlosrox Not liking something someone else does makes you a hater. Don't dare have a different opinion than the masses.

  • In Every Metroid game, Samus gets sexier and sexier and sexier! Thumbs up if you agree!

  • @Lagg3r778 no! i disagree. she went from mature woman warrior femme fatale in Prime, to a huge chested teenage bleach-blonde in Prime 2. . . more attractive, sure if you're a little boy

  • how can i make mine japanese...is it possible??

  • the special ending/fanservice cause the game already starts with it.

  • i love this game baecause u dont have to scan or find 100% of the items to see the

  • 0:06 "hi i'm samus and i break floor boards"

  • meteroido ozer em

  • @02uno dam u beat me to it :/

  • @scotty3590

    lol

  • at the beggining im just like "BOOOBYYS"

  • DON'T BE UNREASONABLE!!!!

  • Its definitely worth buying, but the controls will get a lot of flack from Prime players - main reason being that you can't move in the FPS view. Also, its more Metroid Fusion, than Super Metroid, as you follow "the mission" more than exploring the space station. Some bosses are also a bit too "hyperactive"...

Other wise, its a unique and welcome entry into the Metroid series. Possibly one of the most atmospheric titles.

  • me ter oid o

  • @AIRampage UH-ZA EMM

  • is this game worth buyin? because i really do want to but reviews about said that its not really good ahhhhhhhh... buy or not buy :S

  • @kepster67 It's a really good game in my opinion. Many of the bad reviews were really just bitch fests about the story and characters and not as much on the MUCH stronger gameplay which is all that truly matters if you want a good game. Unless you care more about story.

  • @mikeandamina sweet then i gess ill buy dont really care much about storyline mostly gameplay thanks.

  • This is the song was also played during Adam's death.... D':

  • @rubyjuly94 know the title for this music that is playing D:?

  • metroiduko, ASA IREHEM!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • This game is. The. SHIT!! I LOVE THIS GAME!!

    Go Samus!

  • Y can't american commercials b like this....D: i love Japan!!!!

  • @xTwistedxSisterx

because japanese artist are completely different than american artists. take the boxcovers for example. the u.s. version is truly hideous while the jap version is simply beautifull.

  • @kledder2 of course, Japan is like light years ahead of us...

  • @xTwistedxSisterx

I can't imagine the japs making boxarts this horrible for such great games. Not even from the NEW era. The jap boxart is original, beautifull and it suits the game very well. Just can't say the same about the u.s. cover. They should've integrated english subs in the jap version. That way I could import it.

  • @kledder2 It wasn't Japs who made our boxart....it was us...u should c there's it's truly beautiful.

  • @xTwistedxSisterx

I never said the japs made the u.s. boxart because I don't now who did. But ofcourse I have already seen the jap version and yes that one is truly beautifull. But I already said that in another comment as well.

  • Pause at 0:19...With Samus' lips looking like that, she reminds me of Viola when she disguised herself as Sebastian in "She's The Man"!

She's a hunky dude! She's a badass hunky dude!! XD

  • I have lost count of how many times I have watched this video......I want this game NOW! August 31 seems so far lol.

Im really intrested in Samus' background. I've read all the mangas but just to see Sakamoto's vision come to life with this game makes it really special for the long time fans of the series.

  • @chrysenthenum2

    don't you go complaining amercan

we have to wait even longer (like usual)

  • @bmombaerts Well thats YOUR MARKET'S fault. Metroid always fares better in sales in the North American market than the European, Japanese, and Australian markets LOL. Really quite faire that they would focus a Metroid's game launch early for the North American market.....after all they make the most profit here. Burn.

  • @chrysenthenum2

That has nothing to do with that alone

america almost always get the games earlier

    ps: i have burn-proof skin

  • @chrysenthenum2

If I remember correct the first two prime games released last in Japan. Naturally it doesn't have anything to do with salesnumbers. Just thinking that doesn't make it the truth. And stop acting like a child. "your" market's fault? "lol" wtf is so damn funny about that? and "burn"? are you a fucking 5 year old?

  • @kledder2 Who cares anymore.....this game was a big disappointment.

  • @chrysenthenum2

I haven't played it yet and I rather decide that for myself.

  • @kledder2 Well in that case brace yourself........ugh talk about one serious post-traumatic stress disorder....you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it.

    The gameplay is phenomenal though.

  • @chrysenthenum2

" talk about one serious post-traumatic stress disorder". I hope your not talking about the story since that's what I was looking forward to. Doesn't really mather. I'm gonna play it anyway :).

  • @kledder2 Thats the only reason why I played the game as well.....and lets just say it went right down to "character assassination", Sakamoto should have left the story alone. It does deliver, I mean its full of fanservice. But that does not save it from the very apparent flaws the game has. After this game I have no idea how to look at Samus anymore....is she a collected, badass hardened bounty hunter? Or is she just another degraded infantilized female character?

  • Sorry PS3 and Xbox, this if for Wii.

  • Samus looks so hot

  • Annotations aren't working, can you please post them as a script!

  • @HoboJoe007 If annotations aren't working, check the linked article for a transcript.

  • @HoboJoe007 maby you should hide the play setting

  • @HoboJoe007 maby you should hide the play settings.

  • Nice, thanks!

0:14 - I think your hair looks flugy

    0:15 - *thumbs down*

    Oh, Nintendo.

  • Why are the subtitles not working? D:

  • What has me most intrigued is, what's the mysterious event from these flashbacks that's the source of all Samus and Adam's tension? Because that seems to be of more importance here than the actual game's plot. :P

  • English is much better, would prefer Icelandic though...

  • DON'T BE UNREASONABLE!!!!!!! lol

  • @AncientGearEngineer yeah thats lost in translation. it will probably be something like "dont be crazy!" in the US version

  • I'm not one who complains much about Japanese vs. English voice acting, but holy WOW the Japanese acting is so much more convincing.

  • The part where she said, "Wait Adam! Can't you give me a little more time?!!"

I bet the situation there has to be something about Planet Zebes, the place where she was raised. oOOOoooOH...I wonder what is Adam's response????

  • @rubyjuly94 Something happens with the Space Pirates. If I remember correctly, they attack her home planet, she asks Adam for time to save the Chozo. He refuses, she aims her arm canon at him and BAM. Hahaha nah I'm joking she aims at him and demands for time.

  • WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • I thought they would change the subtitle by now

  • I'd rather the game be in Japanese with English subtitles. The English dub is terrible.

  • @SlamDunkStudios Typical japanophile cry moar. The english is great.

  • @DarkShadowRage2 I'm not a Japanophile. Obviously I'd prefer a language I can understand, but the voice-acting is unusually bad in this game, and I doubt I'm the only one who's noticed.

  • @SlamDunkStudios Funny, everyone seems to love the voice acting in this game.

  • it would be so much better if these were in english
