  • So, heres how you remove an axel, once you remove the bar in the previous part remove the C clamp at the and of the drive and shaft just inside on the crown gear in the diff. Then pull the axel straight out from the wheel side. Or in this video, butcher everything, dont get any light on the subject and do things in the wrong order. I will not be subscribing to this channel. I think sweenie todd had the same idea with his chosen profession.

  • So . . . How did you get the axle out. You didn't show how in any of your videos. It was just suddenly not there anymore?

  • Thanks for the video because I'm about to do this..BUT..There is no part 3 which seems as if it would show one of the areas I'm most worried about. You have 2 "Part 2's" on here even though one is labeled Part 3.

  • harbor freight .. very cheap but worth the cost ! next time buy a seal puller .. dont use grips lol thats a non no ! im rebuilding mine ... today ! got the stuff for a 98 tahoe !! 3.42 gears .. by the way did you take the c clips out in the axcel ! mine came of just by a tap hmm !!!
