  • Getting tired of these advertisements ruining firework videos

  • @dstnlockwood77 I'm sorry to have to have them. They are the only reason I can afford to run around and put the work into making all my videos to begin with. It's either ads, or no more videos. The money I've made off this video barely covers my gas expenses of getting to the site to film it.

  • The plastic bowl he's using where can i get that??

What speed do you recommend? (rpm)

And can you get more of those technique vid's??

  • @zwartje66100 I believe the bowl is the bottom of a plastic barrel that has been cut in half. I don't know enough to recommend a specific rpm, it varies too much depending on the size of star and composition. A variable speed motor would be the way to go. I do not know the next time I will be able to get a video of this demonstrator, but I do plan on a video showing how to roll stars by hand eventually.

  • @Nighthawkinlight looking forward for the rolling stars by hand

  • everytime one of those explode it make the ring around my butthole get ready for some penis

  • What was the white powder he put on the little pellets at first? He used a spoon to put it on.

  • @aceattack52 It was just flour. This video was just a demonstration, it did not use real pyrotechnic compositions.

  • Did anybody notice that the picture before you click on the video looks like a dick?

  • PRESS F5 TO SKIP ADS! RATE THUMBS UP SO PEOPLE CAN LEARN THE TRICK!

  • not to mentoin using lead shot... wld kinda make it like a claymore..right??

  • @MrRyanesmyth No, the lead shot would be tiny and covered with a huge layer of composition. There's no extra danger from getting hit with the stars when using lead shot.

  • @Nighthawkinlight oh okay thanks, i heard that and was like gee that sounds kinda like a grenade they must have pretty bave back then lol....thanks for the answer

  • That demo in the beginning sound like a kick drum and a snare.

  • Can anyone tell me where to buy a star roller like the one above? Or maybe a video on how to make one! Great new website BTW.

  • good video..YOU SAID FIRST ADD BIRDSEED...CAN YOU USE HEMPSEEDS TO START OFF WITH?

  • whats the white powder

  • I really like this video, the man explaining the process is right on, and easy to see he knows what he's doing. Any ideas on where I could find a tub like the green one on this machine?

  • good sound man

awesome to hear those bursts in HD

  • Why did I have a raspberry?

  • rollin rollin rollllin keep them babies rollin! It's June!!!! get busy!!! =)))

  • your forearms are huge!

  • in your oppinion whats better? cut stars or rolled? and does pumping make that big of a difference?

  • @panzuman Rolled stars are much better for ball shells. Cut are better for canister shells.

  • @Nighthawkinlight IMO it's only thing of star mixture. It it's hard to ignite (sometimes primed with thick layer of black powder don't ignite) then cut stars are better. Sharp edges need less heat to ignite properly. It's important especially when star compound is made with lots of metal powder like Al or Mg. ;)

  • The t-shirt rulez!

  • Ahh man, put those pheasants in there....

  • True, but the jump from minuscule pellets to practically finished stars was rather suprising. Still interesting, but not up to the bar you've set with your other in depth videos.

  • A little wet, but it was a great shoot well worth seeing.

  • What was the first comp he put on them I thought I heard him say it was a binder

  • @pyrocrazy321 It was a composition that contained a binder, 3% starpol. The rest of the comp was just a non flammable mixture made for the demonstration.

  • I tried to hand roll stars with a large bowl once, it is not easy and takes alot of patience. I haven't been building in a long time, but I still can't roll stars.

  • Very cool

  • i dont know jack about fireworks, but this video is very interesting!

  • Well done.

  • Whats in the spray bottle? And what are the initial pellets made out of?

  • @vroomba03 I think hair spray and millet.

  • @bamboo4tameshigiri No hes using a mixture of 75 water / 25 alc

  • @XtremePyro12 Cool. I just heard him say he got the idea watching his wife or something. Maybe that was just for the spray bottle. I've used alcohol/water mixes to recrystallize pyro formulas many times too. I usually reverse those proportions though. I use mostly alcohol so it dries a lot faster.

  • @vroomba03 Just plain water is in the bottle. The pellets are made out of a cheap birdseed called millet. It's the yellow seed that is in a lot of feeder mixes.

  • @Nighthawkinlight oh okay thanks!

  • I love the dude t-shirt!

  • i wana see them finshed

  • Your videos are torture to me! I am in California, so I am banned from all things fun!

  • @Nighthawkinlight i agree with you it doesn't need to be any longer . All was needed to know was how to get the millet seed started to get the comp rolling onto it . The only other thing to star rolling is creativeness with the colour layers and knowing what layers to prime. And it was a good video i learnt a few things. Thanks for uploading.

  • cool.

  • I agree, too short. It's more of a teaser, but not really an actual video

  • uh... not nearly enough video of the process. keep it coming

  • I'd love to see more of this dude and this technique!
