@marvinandjosh heeeeeeee...it's REALLY good at detangling..like REALLY..the teeth are seamless i believe, there are no balls on the ends for the hair to get snagged in..i use it when my hair is wet and has conditioenr/leave in/detangler on it...i do it in sections..and it gets out EVERY snag and tangle there is
@ShaunieceCooks hi! a co-wash is "Washing" the hair with conditioner instead of shampoo..the conditioner cleanses the hair (not as well as shampoo) while adding moisture to it
Your so cute and sweet! I really love your hair vids since your my number 1 hair inspiration. I think I may try wave nuevo now, are you still loving it?
You said you part your hair the way you want it to go before your wet it, do you hold all of your hair back at one time?? or do you wash in sections??
I love ur videos and ur hair is gorgeous. I know your mentioned a few times that u were an avid gym-goer, ur arms look great and I was wondering if you can pass on a couple of excerising tips to tone the arms. Thank u!!!
Love your technique for bunning, your NG is so pretty...I'm gonna be kinda sad when you relax your hair because your natural texture is so beautiful...no pressure tho!
@ninapruitt lol @ no pressure...thanks nina!! i think i'm going to be sad too..i'm really trying to break this habit..b/c i know i can deal with my hair
i see the Bahamian flag in the background... lol... this is a nice inspirational video... but you have legnth so you can do that. My hair is still short so basically the only protective hairstyle i can use that will make me look somewhat normal is a half wig... but thanks for sharing.. please put up more vids.. i love waching you
@lilkc7 gotta represent! lol..hey..i did this style when i first started..should have mentioned in the vid what i did..i used a track to make a bun! i thanks!
I really like your vids and your hair is just wonderful. I just wanted to know what type of hair do u have..is it the 3 type or rather 4 cause it seems like your are mixed. Thanks for this vid!
Great Video!!! Love the protective bun always a classic! It's great to jazz the bun with pretty flowers!!! Thanks for the idea about geting them at Walmart, I'm going to the dollar store instead of getting them a the fashion jewelry store for one at $10.
I love the Silken Child detangler. I bought it for myself when I was pregnant b/c I was told I can't have relaxers while pregnant and after about 7 months of no relaxing, my new growth was kickin my rooty patooty. I went to Sally's and the associated told me about Silken Child and OMG....I even use it on my daughter's hair and it's just like butter.
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO, GIRL!!!! I spent a year trying to figure this out (I just got this method for myself the week before this video. BTW, could you PLEASE show do a video on how you moisturize and seal this style. Does the middle of your hair get dry and tangled? If so, how do you manage that?
@ceron1985 welcome!!..i just moisturize the hair that's hanging out..mainly the ends..that's it..the middle eventually dries..if i haven't detangled before hand..yea..it's be tangled..but flat..i don't worry about it..b/c i detangle once a week
Is that the Wave Nouveau with mineral oil in it? Do you not worry about mineral oil in products? I'm just curious b/c I wanted to try it but I didn't want it once I saw the mineral oil...I'm asking you b/c clearly you know what you're doing with all that beautiful hair, lol.
Your hair is SOOO pretty! I just started watching ur vids and i'm learning alot. I would love for my hair to get your length. Im about mid back length; Like 3 in from BSL. I'm am going to start streching my relaxers, But my hair sheds alot. How do u keep down the shedding???
@keishiarenee now..i'm going with every relaxer b/c i want to maintain the length..so like ever 4 months...before..it varied..i sometimes went every 6 months..once i went a whole year w/o trimming..but i used NO direct heat that whole year..i say to trim as needed..if you're using a lot of direct heat..you may need to trim a little more often..if you'ret aking care of your ends..then you should be fine with skipping trim or two
The denam brush that you mentioned......it looks like it will take your hair out. Because it's hard plastic, it seems like it will be too harsh on the hair. I never did like the denam brush. I know it will break my fragile thin hair completely off. I think a paddle brush is much better.
@keishiarenee aww...it looks worse than it is..paddle brushes have those little balls on the tips..and my hair ALWAYS gets snagged in them..the denman is hard plastic..but there are no seams and balls to snag and rip the hair..you just have to take your time
Hey, Bronzeg thanks so much for sharing this it is appreciated. I've been wondering for a while about the whole co wash in a ponytail thing. I'm sure this is great with reducing manipulation. How long do you leave your hair in a ponytail and cowash without combing?? And when you do finally comb how badly is it tangled or matted???
@blaqueonyx h iblaque..ok..when i would co-wash in a pony (i don't do so any more..laziness)..my holder would not be on tight..it'd be wrapped around twice...i'd do that for about a week..i went a little longer once...i don't hink i've ever experienced matting before..tangling..it depends...if my hair was knotty to begin with..yea..i'd have some tangling..but i'd take my time with it..load my hair with lots of conditioner..and do it in sections
@keishiarenee ehhhh...i would say so..but that could be b/c i'm not really detangling before hand..so it could be hair that needed to come out any way...or it could be b/c i'm so many weeks post relaxer..i tend to shed a lot when i'm due for one...but i don't comb or manipulate my hair after it's dry
@atinob43 breakage..you know how some ppl have short pieces in the fron..back and sides? that's usually breakage from ponytails..i like to have my hair as free as possible
The Fantasia IC is FABULOUS!!! Trust me- OMG- I had told a couple ladies on Hairlista and had planned to send a general message to all my friends and never got around to it. ohhh- I am sooo sorry Bronzey girl. But glad you heard about it from NIna. Yeah!!!
Your hair is gorgeous girl.. I do my buns the same way...it's so simple and easy to maintain...
