Danny and Blake below Kent...I think not! Heck Danny Neil's seasons winner and is a stronger dancer. I'm not sure if he can do a plange (he probably could cuz he has some acro) but his developpes are better his pirouettes are also better (we are the champions solo!) Also Blake's body language solo had a flip that looks physically impossible. He has amazing acro control and most importantly emotion. I like lauren and I would have chosen Elenore from Jakob's routine but the rest = eh...
@Unkindunkin Danny didn't win season three. He was the runner up to Sabra Johnson. Danny is good but I need felt emotion from him. There are some dancers that a person just connects with, and I connected with these five.
@SweetPea3189 Touche, you are absolutely right about sabra...I didn't think she should have won so I probably blocked it out :-P I do believe that there is an emotional aspect to dancing but I also think that it is a very subjective aspect and depends almost as much on viewer as the dancer. For instance I definitely felt Danny's emotion when he danced (and during his packets) while you did not. I guess it's just a difference in how we perceive the dancers and not necessarily skill
I think Jeanette from season 5 was more versatile than Lauren Froderman.. Maybe its because I appreciate ballroom technique a little more? But I think Jakob is ultimate.. like wow that boy is amazing. And he so should have won his season!
O: and this is where we differ. Only agree with you on Jakob here. Any list without Janette(Manrara) feels incomplete to me XP And Twitch, and Travis. And even though Allison wasn't the most versatile she is without fail my favorite contemporary dancer to hit the show(tailgated by Katee)

@iluvdrakeandjosh Though I tink Twitch is awesome, I don't think he could ever be included in my Top 5. I tend to lean a lot more towards contemporary dancers. I really appreciate great technique. Also, I LOVE Travis, like insanely, but I appreciate him a lot more as a choreographer. Hmmm. I think this has just inspired me to make a video of my Top 5 favorite choreographers (I'll have to do separate one's for SYTYCD and DWTS). What do you think? Good idea?
@SweetPea3189 Oh i understand, especially about loving Travis more as a choreographer o: I love hip hop dancers, though i feel i never see enough amazing ones on the show compared to contemporary. I was drawn in by Twitch :) Though I love my contemporary, as seen by my list :) Just curious to know what you think of the other dancers I listed.

I'm a big SYTYCD fan. Neil is ranked #2 to Kent, yet he out dances him in their number together in this video. Neil really out dances Kent in the Devotchka number. My list would be 1-Jacob, 2-Mark, 3-Neil, 4-Lauren, 5-Robert.
@greggersgrobe I have to disagree. I think there are some moments when Neil can produce a movement more accurately, but overall I think Kent has a higher level of ability. He's much more versatile and allows his emotion to be more easily observed.
@SweetPea3189 very well constructed critique. Absolutely agree with you. It's almost like Kent just hasn't had the practice like Neil yet to be lightning accurate!
your youtube channel rocks big, we think a lot like. I'm a tv freak ,so I loved all the videos. Neil is my favorite, Jakob is my second and Kent is my third, Lacey and Lauren are my forites girl after Katee and Kayla.

Loved your choices though. Great fan of Alex young, Joshua, Twich and Kent. From the girls love Lauren,Melanie S8, Alison and Kourtney
