does anyone know if there is a problem where you can put 2 sequence settings in one sequence ?

I mean if you shoot your clip at 600 FPS , you still can edit that to 25 FPS and watch it at 25 FPS , so what program could you use to see lets say a third of you clip at (600 FPS to 25) 25 and 600 FPS in a time of 25 FPS like this vid , so it gives the cool effect of a sudden slow mo

@yanndemoerloose It's not a complicated question. The process you are referring to is called time remapping. Yes, it's possible and a fairly common process. I'm not sure about other programs, but you can look up time remapping. After Affects and Adobe Premiere both do it.

You lay the clip on the timeline and remap the parts you wish to go slower, speed up, or a gradual variance in between.

Unfortunately the resolution at 600 fps is not high but i think that at this price you can't find other devices who record in slow motion with a better resolution.. don't you think?

@Jamirofan89 the quality does raise somewhat as you use normal speed video, although not as good as a camera of similar price at normal speed/pictures, you are paying for high speed, if you need high speed for under 1k this is your best bet

512 x 384 (300 fps), 432 x 192 (600 fps), 336 x 96 (1200 fps)

Technically, the 1200 fps aspect is 21:6, but it's really tiny.

Is there software that comes for viewing this ultra high speed stuff so u can pick apart each frame individually or set the playspeed you want to WATCH it in? If so, what program do you use or what program comes with the camera to get a video like this at this frame rate?

The video is standard H.264 in a .mov container. You can play it with any standard mov player, such as quicktime. Because it's recorded at a higher than normal speed, the playback time is longer than the record time. At 300 FPS a 1 second video will take 10 seconds to play back. At 600 FPS, a 1 second video will take 20 seconds to play back, etc...

at 600 fps, it seems like the playback could have been a lot slower. Were you showing it at 30 frames per second or more?

It is shot at 600FPS and playback is at 30. That's a factor of 20, so this 26 second video took place in only 1.3 seconds.

It is indeed 600FPS. The EX-F1 is capable of recording at 1200, but the resolution is quite tiny (336x96). The 600FPS vids are recorded at 432x192.
