to be honest you did use the boat to jump of but this was still amazing to see and i've just thought of an evil challenge, get across the lava pit without TOUCHING the boat at all AND collecting the blue coins although if anyone could do that i'd take my hat off to u (if i had a hat) and applaud u

@C10pokefan I think after you get the save menu to come up for the coins, it disables your FLUDD, so it may be impossible to get the coins without the boat. Of course, I'm no pro, I'm just saying what I've heard.

Awesome job! I didn't know the spikes could hurt you without killing you. I think I actually did once get hit by them and not get killed, even though it might've been a fish, but either way, I landed in the lava and Mario was swimming in it without dying. I tried to swim to the end, but after swimming a little bit, I died.

Yes, that is possible because of the invincibility you have from getting hit. It's not really much of a use anyway because you can beat the level faster on land, and there's a platform blocking you from progressing farther into the level if you're swimming in the lava.
