The man was homeless by choice. He also was able to hold steady jobs, when he took his medication. Unfortunately something that's common with people who have schizophrenia, they may come to think that since they are doing fine in life that they no longer need the meds. This story makes me incredibly sad. Hearts out to the family of this man.

The man was homeless by choice. He also was able to hold steady jobs, when he took his medication. Unfortunately something that's common with people who have schizophrenia, they may come to think that since they are doing fine in life that they no longer need the meds. This story makes me incredibly sad. Hearts out to the family of this man.

No we don't like that. A sixteen yr old mexican kid was murdered last year in my city, a teenage biracial girl was punched countless times by a dumb "overly aggressive cop"! Black are often times shot dead, but these cops are killing any and everybody! (African Americans know this.. but is the goverment aware?) It's the media and police force that's acting like these things don't happen enough!

The FBI now decides to get involved in these types of cases, this isnt anything new folks, beatings like this happen around the clock, its when a camera is around do they get caught.

@Kingsnake1 because, like many adult people with mental illness, choose to be homeless. And no matter how hard you beg them to go to treatment you cannot force them to go. They must self admit themselves. And usually most parents will try n force their child to get help by saying you cannot live her if you don't receive treatment, so they leave. And another reason is some of them are so paranoid they believe that their own family members are trying to hurt them or even kill them.

I shared a house with an alcoholic about twenty years ago (I didn't know he was an alcy before I moved in, although I should have known. I guess I'd never encountered a real alcy before).
After one particularly bad weekend, in which he broke my stereo, puked on the kitchen floor and collapsed on the living room floor, disgorging his bottle of Glen Morangie onto the living room floor, I fianlly lost it and called him an alcoholic cnt. "Alcoholic? Alcholic? ME?!?" He was outraged.

Once a cop thought I let a girl go thru with me in the turnstile of a train he came slammed her and as he proceeded to slam me a few civilians vouched for me. Althought it aint help thank god at that time there was cameras that showed i didnt do anything. Sad to see her get slammed for me tho.
