Cheers, dd's although fundamentaly the same do differ quite a bit. I haven't tried a dd-3 but i have a dd-10 and can safely say it's best avoided. I've found that there's no real logic to how good or bad the different models are to bend. The 6 is probably the easiest to do as all but one pin on the sound chip does something. The 8 isn't quite as good and i've fitted my own circuit to it to get the lfo/ringmod effect in there. Drop me a private message and i'll email over some info if you want.
Thanks. They take awhile to put together and the soldering of all the wiring drives me mad but it's a cool way to get access to just about everything it'll do. In hindsight i should have left out the points connected in parallel as i rarely use them and instead i should have added two more switchable routes. Something for another day. Thanks again for the sk5 info.
that's fukcin business class, congratulations on such a cool mod. Did you build the "destruction matrix" from scratch or can you buy in kit form? Forgive the dumb question but i'm interesting in circuit bending but haven't got a fucking clue about electronics and hope there's an easy short cut for electrical dunces. But in all honesty I reckon that casio keyboard i just bought on ebay will just sit around unused until I accidentally tread on it or something. Cheers, any more stuff coming soon?
Your builds are really impressive.
i have been looking into bending some DD's i have a DD-3 which is pretty much unbendable
(1 chip only distortion bends). got a DD 5 and hopefully a DD 6 soon.
Your videos give me hope for those 2 since you pretty much found all the possible bends.
have you noticed any difference in the different models? bendwise...

cool.. i'm not usually a big fan of patchbays but that is a beautiful interface!!
great work!
