idk i guess it really pepends on you really cause its alot easier to have a double bass pedal cause it does save a lot of money from buying a new bass drum and whole nother pedal. but the only bad thing is some pedals you wont get as much bounce wit the left pedals. and 2 bass drums just looks really cool but its almost impossible to get the same tune for both, unless your using triggers or something

as far as the drum rack goes, i actually picked up some used clamps and picked up some steel emt conduit and made my own rack for about $55. from there i just bought clamps as needed for mounting toms and cymbals. i think 2 kick drums is best but i just have a double pedal and it works just fine. good luck with the iron cobras

lol no i dont do that whole side footing thing although it does sound like a good technique i just have really crappy hi hats and i keep them like a quarter inch open not alot at all so when i do open it its clear that its open and also when im doing double bass you dont get all of that wierd ness with an open open hi hat so i keep mine open but so close thats its almost closed and also it has to do with the camera angle lol in my other videos youll see what i mean like the loudness of them
