He returned to the swammi explaining he felt pain and the swammi said, "Where is the place within you from where the pain comes?" This was the beginning of swammi's inner inquiry. Dear Paramahamsa Gee, I have a question if it's possible to answer...whether you get this or not here goes:

You said in a previous talk that this whole world is a dream. Then also implied that this dream world is no more real than the dreams you dream when sleeping. My question is, is it possible the affect the karma of this dream life by the actions you take in your sleeping dream?

I ask your pardon for answering this, but while you wait for Swamiji's wise words...It is the opposite, the karma you perform in this (living) dream will affect your dreams. You see, the sleeping dreams are but a shadow of your life (dream). So whatever your thoughts, actions and emotions so are the reflections in your dreams. Someone who truly performs unselfish, loveing karma during the day will not have nightmares haunting him, similarly a selfish brute cannot sleep in peace for long.

Thank you for the reply but I'm not convinced with this answer because if this were true it would mean that this "real world" dream is more real than the "sleeping world" dream and that seems to be in contradiction to what he was trying to say

I see your point, but one must remember, if the Sun shines on a mirror and from it are created more reflectins upon other mirrors it is not the authenticity of the reflections that we are concerned with for they are all equally illusionary, all that matters is knowing the nature of the original Sun - Truth.

Actually , they say a Guru can help his disciple burn his karma in dreams. I think it's done through 'Yoga Nidra'

karma can never b burned bt only deviated ...karma can be stopped from being created...well it's not necessarilly true maybe it can b burned too bt i've never heard of this

How much I love it Swamiji when you talk about your own experiences,It makes me feel very close, I also have a lot of experiences of awakening since I meditate and cannot share this with others usually,so it feels sometimes a very lonely existence, but it is as it is and I accept, but I enjoy your sharing with us about yourself,I am in the Netherlands,maybe you'll visit us in the near future?That would be wonderful to sit with you in reality, but I can always feel you very closely guiding,thanks
