If you listened to the media you would think that the "blue dog" democrats are totally against Obama's agenda. All Bayh said was that he wants to bring down long term deficits. He pretty much said that he agrees with moving forward with the programs Obama has put forward.
The more sides the better because it prevents the massive accumulation of power that allowed Dubia and his junta to royally screw up the US.
But this guy and his gang seem to be covering up their obstructionism with words of support and loyalty. It is time the Democrats run wild and tear apart all the GOP did these last decade and build anew. Success is all the defense they need for their actions. Saving the US is success. The GOP and sellout politicians must not be allowed to interfere.
well, thats sounding a bit wild, but i do believe that liberal ideas have been proven in history well enough and that conservative ideas at the least sure havent.
Also, repubs heavily supported pres Bushes destroying of america and only now are disassociating themselves from the last 8 years.
Its the dems turn to try now and repubs do need to get out of the way until they have real substance to their arguments.
Right now they admit openly that they do not have alt plans, only ideals to repeat.
I am a religious, conservative guy myself. Which is why I despise the GOP. They are neither Christians nor conservative. They are a bizarre blend of fanatics and upper caste entitled.
Obama will have our grandchildren paying the debts of the US until their grandchildren are married. Tough break. Clinton left us at peace and with a superavit. Now the black guy has to clean the mess as best he can. He will have to burn up the house but it isn't his fault. There are no alternatives.
Doesn't seem to apply to the blue dogs. Though I hold a grudge against them for doing some token cutting in the stimulus and thereby cutting half a million jobs. I think they've done enough. But maybe Obama ought to think about some ways to assist carbon intensive states? Maybe it's a good idea to allocate the cap n trade revenues according to revenues from states? This would give states less of an incentive to cut their carbon but it still very much targets INDUSTRY which is the whole point.
Evan is making sure the bad cycle of republican to democratic and then to republican adminstrations continues to happen.
