  • Holy overstock!

I only have 9 little guys in my 29 gal.

  • take everything out except your neons and betta and that will be ideal for this size of tank

  • Some succesful tips is not to have to many fish, like you have too many, and get like a three gallon tank to put the pregnet females in, and get some floating plants so the fry can hide

  • well my guppies just give birth to 16 babies... so my 11 gallon aquarium went from 6 cool fishes to OVERCROWD ! :(

  • WAY OVERSTOCKED!

  • i dont see any betta fish

  • Way to many fish in there. YOur stocking is all wrong...

  • omg i love your tank.. is there anyway you can explain how you treat the tank ( anything special ) or basically how you take care of the tank. we are getting a 10 gallon and all though we love the types you have in here we are thinking of getting what you have but just a less amount of each.

  • Holy crap man get a bigger fish tank

  • Did all your fish died by now?

  • i have 2 girl platys and 1 boy platy

  • 0/5 cold water fish mix with tropical fish , then you put like 200 fish in a 10 come on dude :-( freak it I'm reporting you to the ASPCA!!!!! !!!!

  • Little crowded dont ya think?

  • wwwaaaaaaaayyy overcrowded!!

  • That's only EXTRAORDINARILY overstocked!!!!!! It should be illegal to overstock that much.

  • Holy overstocked fish tank, Batman!

    Seriously...What are you thinking? D:

  • for this tank,i think it all depends on the water changes and filter.Thats what this guy told me at this pet fish store.nice tank

  • nice fish! but dont you think they need more room.... just a thought.

  • your tank looks really cool but there are some problems. ITs a b it overstocked. Might not be at this very moment (although it sort of it overstocked now but they are happy) but in the future the clown loaches get BIG and goldfish get pretty big as well.

  • Wow! That's a lot of fish for that size tank but it looks cool! How are all those fishes getting along with each other? Also, do they get your water dirty real quick?

  • way too crouded!

  • too many fish and it's way too small for a clown loach. those guys can get to about 11 inches plus they're happier in groups.

  • they see happy fishies to me =]

  • Have you actually read up on all these species of fish they have? If you have, you would know that this tank is way overcrowded and some of these species actually don't do that well together.

  • evey fish is different i but to male betas in a id say a 2.5 gallon bowl before i found out there "fighting fish" but its been a year and there still chillin no issues

  • I agree every fish is different but I'm not even talking about personalities and temperaments. As some people have mentioned before, some of the fish in there need totally different water qualities in order to thrive. Any fish who actually live past this are probably going to have a very shortened life span from stress.

  • jeez, way to over crowded.

1 inch of fish per 1 gallon.

  • way to many fish but love them all!!

    so cool

  • remove the goldfish.....plz!

  • i agree not only because they wil die in that tank quick but also they are extremely dirty

  • 11Gallon is overcrowded for you

  • did the breeding work out?

  • Overstocked.........

  • I got a 12 Gal for 15 sing dollars!!

  • let me guess...first tank...?

  • the tank looks good but i'll bet you lost some of them by now...??

  • well the tank is all wrong care wise but thats an amzing solid white goldfish

  • the tank is way overcroweded. soon the tanks bioload will catch up to you and it will crash and burn. first turqoise rainbows need a wider tank because they are fast swimming and energetic. second goldfish get very stressed when in a tropical climate and need at least 20 gallons for one. third the rule of thumb is to have 1 in. of adult size fish per gallon of water. i dont mean to be mean but you either need to get a larger tank or give tham away.

  • Its too overcrowded the fish are swimming into one another. =(

  • 30 gallon tanks in the UK range from £250-£400, which is a huge shame. Still no excuse to overstock a tank though.

  • what!!! no im getting a 100gal for £400 a 30g is about £200

  • wow, their expensive!!! In Singapore you can buy a 15 Gal for 22 dollars + Glass and curved edges!

  • here in the philipines it only cost 50 dollars for a 200 gallon tank

  • probably not enough fish. Add the betta.

  • It has already been established that this tank is overstocked beyond belief, but the first fish I would remove or rehome are the three Clown Loaches. They can grow to a foot long each and need a tank easily over 100 gallons!

  • nice tank my tank overstocked(not liek uers) i just clean my tank more lol

  • beautiful!

  • those are nice fish and nice deco, but you should get a 30 gallon tank. It is so overstocked

  • so?

  • no way this is great! besides what do you think she's a millionaire? *rolls eys*

  • A 30 gallon tank dose not cost a million dollars, maybe a 3000 gallon tank but not a 30 gallon.

  • 30 gallon tank costs like $35.

if you're too poor to buy a $35 dollar piece of equipment to preserve the live of your pets then you probably shouldn't be keeping those pets. *rolls eyes*

  • They're 300 dollars around here.

  • i just got a 20L for $25.

a 30 gallon blank is not going to cost 300 dollars.

i would say $50 tops. unless where you live they multiply the cost of everything by 6. if that's the case i would move.

  • i got my tank for like £163 Uk money and it was a 30 gallon with a cabinet a heater a fluval plus 3 filtration system the hood and lighting unit. So yh not that much money and no where near a million

and also a 70 gallon bow front that im getting with everything in it is only £418.

  • I agree that coldwater and tropical shoudnt be mixed but it doesnt look that over crowded they all look quite happy to be honest.

But i would take the coldwater fish out and put them in another tank

  • nice tank i have swordtails,mollies,neon tetras,guppies,and platies in my 10g

  • that is way overcrowded + those fish dont thrive well with each other get a 20 gallon or + for them and remove the goldfish

  • so???

  • the most overcrowded tank i have ever seen

  • and this is ignorant saying a goldfish will live a long life in a tropical aquarium

whoever keeps that tank, there are various things wrong with it,

    1. its way overcrowded

    2. keeping goldfish with tropical fish

    3. tetras require acidic water

4.rainbowfish and guppies require alkaline water

5.mollies to live to their full potential need brackish water

    6.way way way too overcrowded.

    torture through ignorance

  • idealy, yes. but these types of fish can live in the same tank... if it wasnt so overcrowded

  • hey duchbag. these fish can live in the same tank. and goldfish are fine with tropical. i have black moors and red capped orandas with neon tetras and they are fine... but yes its overcrowded. but who frikin cares. they are obviously doing fine. it doesnt have to be perfect so shutup

  • lol its pretty funny watching people fight over the fish in peoples tank! coldwater are not suppose to be mixed with tropical you can tell because one is called coldwater and one is called tropical duh.... and thats you who are mixing your coldwater with freshwater also so thats your choice

  • lawl ye

  • you can keep gold fish with tropical fish u know

  • thats stupid people saying goldfish coldwater and your other fish different those fish will live happy in cold or warm water i have mollies and goldfish it has been 5 years without one dieng

  • i don't care what other people say how the goldfish live in cold water and the tetras in warm water...at least there happy then thats the point...

  • ok dude, 47 fish in an 11gallon tank...not very smart... you should have 4-7 fish in an 11 gallon but whatever your money..

  • dude that is way to crowded plus the goldfish are cold water while the teras and other fish are tropical, how are they ven alive?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!

  • very nice tank, have a look at mine its nots as good as this 1 but its only my first 1 and i will be trying my best to make it look as best as possible.

Loving the set up of this tank, very nice

  • That's a nice tank =D

  • goldfish are coldwater- neon and molly are warmwater fish. At which temperature do you keep them?

  • at the top end of the orandas temp range 24degrees celcius which is the nens and mollys lowest temp. the orandas ver happy its always got its dorsal fin up and is always active. and so are the neons they are always shimering brightly and rearly active.

  • nice tank... plants, scenery and fish all look nice and healthy!! : )

but whats the plastic thingy up the top with the fish in it @ 4:41??

  • its a livebreeder tank to protect the fry from the other fish when there born.

  • o right i thought it would b something like that but how come u got a big fish in it though

  • its a fully grown dalmatian molly that in it the mollies are also live breeders and its the first time ive attempted to raise the young. eventually I intend to breed guppies. but there's an art to placing them pregnant female into the tank at the right time. ive read that you can leave them in there for days before the give birth but I think she was too big for the breeder tank really so ive let her out as she was stressed. I will; try again with some of my smaller fish may be the platies.

  • its a little bit overcrowded but its still a really nice tank i like the neons i might put some in my tank once my knifefish crokes

  • Knife fish are really cool to watch but there too aggressive for me as this restrict the types of fish you can have. ive spent about four months slowly removing and replacing the more aggressive fish in my tank for community fish. the female bettas that I had used to eat my neons. so I stoped buying them. until now, my tank has no aggressive fish at all now and it is so much easier to look after as you don't have to lookout for injured fish and then have to isolate and nurse them back to health.

  • Nice fish, theyre all very healthy looking (well, apart from the betta.)The oranda is sweet, he looks so dumb. xD

I dont think its TOO overstocked. Ok, maybe a little, but seeing as youre not buying any more fish once these die then it should be ok.

  • The 11gal, is WAY overstocked, im not being mean or anything.

I would RECOMEND getting rid of the goldfish as they hurt tropicals wuite alot, they excrete a huge amount of waste, they carry bacteria that tropical fish cant handle, they are coldwater fish, and once they will get big enough they will eat the other fish.

the tank isnt even big enough for the 17 neons, as the basic rule of thumb is 1 inch of fish per gallon, and neons get to 1 inch each.

  • I know its over stocked i dont intend to replace any fish that die for the time being. the guppies will be moved 2 the smaller tank when the betta dies :( which will be soon as he has a tumor.

with the 11 gallon tank i am going to let it die back a bit so that it isnt so over stocked.

  • errr ok, but how come u started off with so many fish in the first place?

Also do you know why the betta has a tumor, and are you sure its a tumor?

  • the betta had dropsey about a month ago but recovered ever since he's had a large lump on his side that slowly geting bigger, ive asked my local fish shop and they said it was most likely a tumour. Ive had my tank for over a year now but recently ive added a lot of plants (the smaller ones), that school of neons and the dalmation mollies. Before I did that i didnt have an overcrouding problem.
