Hi, the software is called Phun. Its free. Just do a search for it and download it.

Yes it does. It simulates gravity, wind resistance and standard frictional losses. The included help file is very sparce but there are a lot of on-line resources for using the program. There is some controversy regarding the algorithms used for some components and there are times when you can achieve unusual results. You just need to keep this in mind when using the program. I hope this helps.

I won't bore you with another video but I did spend a lttle time today tweaking this and I've gotten it up to 400 additional joules, or a 10% increase over the original design with no increase in input power!

I'm also creating a design that will convert this to a floor mounted unit. I'll keep you posted.
