Don Rickles' performance was too over the top and it hurt the episode. Carol Burnett's guest appearance was better.

I've just watched all of season 1 and 2, and this episode and the Groovy Guru are the worst. What happened? It's hard to imagine that this kind of womanizer comedy (Don Rickles) was ever funny. Ditto for the movie "The Apartment", which is about a guy who rents out his apartment to office mates who want to cheat on their wives.

I'm not sure but I thought I remembered Don Rickles mooing into the horn phone when he was talking to the president.

I've seen this episode before and yes he definitely did moo into the phone.

while talking on the phone Rickles first said, "I'll make you feel at home," and then mooed just like a cow.
