  • I LOVE the mousse however I heard so many raves to try the lotion I did .I do NOT like this at all it is not as deep as the mousse & you use SO much more not good value for money nor efficient at all. I am so disappointed in this as it cost me $60.00 LeTan $12.00 lotion is better than this lotion St Tropez

  • Umm Awkward moment when you think the model is black, and then you see her face....

  • akward moment when she's already tanned.

  • It looks fine when i apply it on my skin but as soon as i take a shower its gone :/

  • some people need to understand this comes in one shade only.

the model was tan because it works best on not completely pale skin tones.

if you are tanned a little bit and use it ill wwill work wonders. if you are fair and using it, going up 20 skins shades will look ridiculous and streaky and unnatural on you.

  • Looks like a leather handbag

  • I just leave it on for 1 hour

  • This looks so unnatural!! damn!

and what ist with the back??????

  • I used the instant tan in the shinny bottle and I dont know what I did wrong but it was awful. There was jist patchy dirty marks all over my body or no change in colour at all please can you tell me where I am going wrong spent loads on this product :( x.

  • I'm sorry but this is the worst tanning product i've ever had.

I just applied it there, following this video.

And i look ridiculous. I've followed all the instructions properly and I look patchy and streaky. Utter shite

  • How dumb to use a model that is already tan. We can't even see the actual results of using this product. Nice one.

  • @Lulubelle883 the video is called "st. tropez bronzing lotion APPLICATION". NOT "what st. tropez bronzing lotion RESULTS." should have realized that before leaving you completely uncalled for rude comment like a little b****.

  • @chantell987 Actually, to see an application done properly you need to see the results. It goes hand in hand. And clearly, you're the only person being rude here. You really shouldn't be offended by the comments others make on here. It's only opinions, you don't have to agree with them and you surely don't need be nasty to anyone for no apparent reason.

  • @Lulubelle883 i was thinking the same

  • How do you do the back??????????????

  • At first I thought god this looks terrible but then when you buffed it I saw how all the streaks immediately went :) and anyway she di NOT need tanning at all... She was already dark

  • Comment removed

  • so if the lotion looks darker in some areas right after you apply it doesn't show up like that after you shower it off does it? Or is that just extra residue that comes right off?

  • Hello,

I am really confused about applying. On the bottle it tells me that I should not rub it in but in the video she is blending it in. I'm excited to try out this product please let me know in detail what I should do.

  • the mousse looks a lot easier to apply

  • HAhahahah WHITE gIRLSSS. from the back is like Quasimodo you remember that fucker

  • this lady looks really brown already because she is used in every st tropez application video look on boots under st tropez

  • her leg looks streaky and she missed her ankle part

  • How much of this fake tan would i need to put on so i'm quite dark straight away? also is this product the same as st moriz? i'm allergic to that stuff -.-

  • love this self tanner!

  • damn what a mess this stuff must make

  • sooo it would have been cool if they had used a model that was WHITE so we could see how well the tan goes on. this chick is already super tan lol

  • OK, but how do you get your back??

  • She seems to use a hell of a lot of fake tan D: I love st tropez though :D

  • so will this cause facial acne?

  • @Amandahatcher94 for some people it may be differrnt but i have asked the same thing to people who have acne prone sking and they said no and also i tried it today it is still drying on me and no it didnt :)

  • oh man when they panned to her face I was shocked "she is white!"

they should have done this experiment with a paler person, so that they could show the views how tan you could get. Cuz she is already pretty tan/dark

  • i have very dry skin (sometimes even flaky in the winter time). do you recommend the mousse or the lotion? i'm a caucasian skin type (if that makes sense).

  • @jaandini both the mousse and the lotion can give you an uneven result if your skin is too dry. Dry skin is really detrimental to self-tanning products because it is what causes those unsightly streaks!!!! Just be sure that on the day you decide to apply the product you exfoliate, and be sure to moisturize well before hand. I usually double up on my moisturizing routine when I know im going to be self-tanning.

  • to complicated I mean hard work I will never get it even, and if I do after one shower or 2 you loose the colour all the hard work for a day or two nahhhhh

  • Oh my god she is useing WAY too much I can't handle watching this lol

  • i really want to try this product but im not sure how well it works

  • @SuperPenguin111 It is the absolute BEST if you want a natural looking tan, you just have to be prepared for a moderatley complicated application process. But if you have the patience it is TOTALLY worth it, I have VERY fair skin, so I don't tan naturally from the sun. With this product I am able to get a dark rich tan in the summer, without ever having to worry about damaging my skin!

  • @SuperPenguin111 i tried it today and it worked wonders! i loved it

  • It is fine to apply two thinner layers, as long as you wait for 4-8 hours for the first application to develop.

  • Would it be fine to apply two thinner layers (applying the second coat after the first coat has had some time to dry) instead of one heavy layer that needs to be buffed?

  • Talking about pumps

  • How long should I wait to buff my body after I apply the Bronzing Lotion?

  • @bbynikkidollface I would say a minimum 6 hours, for a noticable differance. My skin is very much fair so I usually leave it on for 8-9 hours for a really stunning, and deep result. Since I don't usually have 8 hours to spare I apply it, let it dry for an hour or two, and then sleep! Just be sure to lay down an old DARK sheet, you don't want to leave stains.

  • Is there a lighter color?

and where can you get the buffing glove?

  • @beachbabie020 You can buy the glove on StTropez online store. And don't worry about finding a lighter color, the active ingrediants in the product only allow your skin to get as dark as it would with natural sun tanning. I am fair skinned, and the result I get is always natural, never too dark.

  • @beachbabie020 u get a mit to help u spread it evenly and u can buy it at ulta or sephora in the mall!:)

  • she doesnt even need to fake tan

  • wow a lot of work and it looks to dark..used this before and i hated it

  • lmfao look how much product she uses though?! after like 3 uses there will be no product left..

  • amazing

  • if you go to a rave with it on will it sweat off?

  • actually the st.tropez tan stays brown. It's an incredible self tanner. Easy to use and looks natural :))

  • @Divalicious666 does the color of the self tan light or fairly dark? I need a dark self tan!!!

  • @niceguy045 Its fairly dark on me, i'm quite pale.

But all you have to do is re-apply it if you want it dark. So apply it once, then re-apply it the next day, that way you'll get darker results. =)

  • @Divalicious666 HEllo, but if you apply twice St-Tropez, is there any risk to be orangy ?

  • @WatchingSky

Ive had it on, and even while it fades, it's never orange. But that's just my personal experience. Ive never applied two coats

But if i do i'll let you know how it goes.

    Hope that helped. :)

  • @Divalicious666 thank u!!!!

  • what happens if your face goes patchy or should that not happen ??

  • how does it work when you go out, dance, when its hot- does it melt off?

  • @MrsSashee Never! go with it on outside cuz it u have it on witing for it to dry it could cause aging wrinkles and skin cancer faster or just cuase it but like if u already showered and it came off then ur fine:)

  • shes already so tan!! haha

  • I would have loved to have seen this on somebody who didnt lay on a sunbed all day before shooting this video...

  • She has been using the sunbed before the st.tropez.

Self tanning cream would never look that natural after a few hours. It would look mutch more orange then brown.

Yes... the solarium tan is a natural looking "fake tan"

  • PLEASE

will this work on someone who has fair skin? i wouldn't want it to come off orange.

  • @BeautifulBadlands no it dosent come off orange i was SOoo pale and i didnt come orange so hope that answers ur question

  • she looks like julia roberts.

  • how would you get it on your back?

  • I am gonna buy some of the products but what ones will i need to get a nice tan ?

  • this looks grose.

  • The model has a real tan and is just putting on the fake tan for this video.

  • That's waaaay too tan, that lady doesn't even seem white anymore.

  • if im not very tan to start with, will this still get me dark?

  • great product, so doesn't look fake love it got mine from the store st-tropez

  • @fueledbyelisabeth Well 10 people agree with me so who cares

  • she is like the most perfect tanned color.

  • Why is everyone commenting that she's already tan? She's not doing it to get tanner, she's demonstrating the proper application method. And would you really expect St. Tropez to use a pasty girl??? What kind of marketing is that???

  • @tropicalhope lol i agree.

  • omw.. how much tanner can she get -_-

  • stupid! she's practically DARK BROWN already!

  • whats the best length of time to leave the tan on before washing it off?

  • Its A Bit Streaky On The Arms Near The Elbow x

  • this looks so hard......

  • how long should one bottle last?

  • looks very unnatural

  • do you have to do this everyday?? does it wash off?

  • do you have to do this everyday?? does it wash off?

  • Shes tan already... and she probably didn't use self tanner to get that way.

  • this looks expencive and confusing

  • What size is the bottle of the lotion that she is using,like..the actual tanning lotion, not the moisturizer? Thank you :)

  • what an awful mess!!! I recomend Rimmel instant tan and apply it with a tanning mit the tan is only about £4 and the mit about £3 (you can wash it and re use) although dont get this tan wet at all! St Tropez mousse is good ive had a set for christmas although i doubt ill buy any myself because i think its way too over priced

  • i always get my mum or sister to do my back. and instead of buying a buffer i use an old wooly glove or old sock :) works just as good ;)

  • OMG why on earth is that woman applying it ? shes soo tanned already! lol

  • and also, how do you reuse the gloves, or cant you??

  • Hi there. You do need to shower off the Bronzing Lotion after it has developed (4-8 hours). You can resuse the gloves too. Hope that helps.

    St.Tropez x

  • @StTropezUltimateTan after u shower the bronzing part of the lotion off..... does the tan still look dark? is this lotion dark or give you a light tan?? most self tans i use are light after i shower all the bronzer washes off then i look like i have no color... :( is this one like that?

  • @niceguy045 um did u wait 4-6 hours with it on

  • do you have to wash this stuff off at the end??

  • so u can use body tanning lotion on your face as well??

  • Hi there. You can apply St.Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Lotion to the face. We recommend that you dilute the Bronzing Lotion with equal amounts of St.Tropez Body Moisturiser for additional hydration and a natural look.

    St.Tropez x

  • @StTropezUltimateTan how long should you wait until u start to buff

  • That's a lot of work!

  • i've search high and low for instruction on how to apply the back....every video talked about self-tanner but nobody ever tell you how to apply the back....

  • what about your back?

  • thats what i was wondering. weird

  • @moneygrabber92 EXACTLY what my thoughts were...

  • @moneygrabber92 ha I know!

  • wow you have to go through so much :-0

  • its a great product but she's already soo tan!

  • she may have used it before. but i agree. she should go and wash off what she put on straight away cause she'll just wind up looking freakishly tanned otherwise lol
