What's also notable about Lees kicking movement is his total control of the muscles throughout it's execution. He's not just "flinging his leg" in a loosey glossy fashion, but controlling it's ascent and decent. The result is one verrrrry smooth connected movement. It's both subtle and beautiful to watch.

Lees jump kick to Jabbars head! The guy had incredible spring in his legs. The fact tgatkind he ep doing multiple takes of it demonstrates the incredible muscular endurance he had also. All that jumping definitely build up that lactic acid in the muscles.

Lee jump kicks at kareem who is 7 foot tall. He kicks straight up at his head too. No camera tricks. He is a superb athlete. I got tired just watching him

@iceblue4u That height is Olympic level. With Kareem spreading both his feet outward and his head tilting downward, Kareem decreases the height by maybe one foot. So Lee is then bringing his waist to at least 6 feet in the air....olympic height. Further Bruce weighed between 124-133 lbs yet he could hold out a 75lb barbell outward in front of him at shoulder level w/elbows locked in one arm for a good 15-20 seconds, yet pro weight lifers CANT do that. Superhuman is accurate.

@232323C Kareem Abdul Jabbar was a student of bruce Lee. Kareem does have an advantage on the hieght and reach, but lack in speed and accurate power punch to Bruce's speed and power. People just look at him as movie actor who's asian and posses great martial art moves. That in real life he would loss in a ring match or street fight.....before he came to America Bruce Lee won in a Boxing match with China's champion. History tells that Bruce was challenged by many,never defeated. Bruce is Champ!!!

THANK YOU so much for posting this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I've confirmed that Lee could perform at Olympic level with the high jump as Kareem is around 7ft and Olympic jumpers for scissors leap is 4-5ft and running jump is about 6ft, while lee is bringing his hip about 6 ft in the air relative to a 7foot Kareem. This is amazing,
