The Republican FATCATS put simple pleasures like thos deeper into the "Realm of DREAMS" for the "Working Class American" with every passing tax-cut to the wealthy, rich, and famous that comprise less than 1% of the U.S.A. ... nice ...
This '65 is stellar ... a truly beautiful car. I would love to have a peek at its vin #. I've never seen a true SS (16637 vin) with the metal trim along the bottom of car under rocker panel. That is specific to plain jane cars, not SS cars. Does anybody else have a comment on that observation?

This was my first car (all black) , exactly, but mine was auto transmission... hand-down from Dad to Mom to me. I got it for free for the first 2 years I had it then bought it for $1 and got my own insurance. I was 16 in 1970 when I first started driving it. All the boys wanted me for my car ;-) It had every electric bell & whistle Dad could get including power windows and the front seat was power adjustable.
I had a 1965 impala SS.It was completely original and had a 327 and powerglide.White with a black interior.Man,i miss that car.Had to sell it because of financial problems.
'65 was a great year for the Impala ! And this one is sweet. Give me the '64 Riviera, the '65 Impala, '66 Toronado and '67 Eldorado...GM sure knew what they were doing in those years
Gorgeous. I owned a few back in the day.

Looks like an Impala made into an SS, or someone added extra Impala trim to the outside, giving it that look.
