The shadow of your smile, unforgettable. The romantic kisses were striking. This includes among my favorite movies. I am nostalgic, I love films that epoch and its protagonists. Continue to be enjoyed today, though, are rarities
Yes,,,Grace was the ultimate girl friend...amazing. Go watch To Catch a Thief...nothing can compare with the current crop of actresses in terms of authenticity or vibe....
What's really really sad is that she died at the spot where they filmed To Catch a Thief. When she's sitting in the car talking to Cary Grant, you can see the French Riviera below. That's where her car sailed over a cliff in 1982. Tragic.
Not sure exactly what is happening to me, but now that I am 52 years old I am now finding "older" movie clips with such stars as Grace and Audrey H. MOST interesting, very classy and such and have this unresistable urge to begin watching
some of the older movies. I have always had a soft spot for classy woman. pure class. Found this clip to be fascinating and most enjoyable. If anyone has any
suggestions on some of their favorites I would love to hear from you.
@Blacknightsjester Well... this vid offers some great suggestions of course, but I'd add Audrey's "Love in the Afternoon", "Funny Face", "Charade" and "Two For the Road"; Catherine Deneuve in "Belle de Jour"; Kim Novak in "Bell, Book and Candle" and "Vertigo"; Sophia Loren in (if you can find it anywhere) "More Than a Miracle" and "Arabesque" and Ingrid Bergman in "Anastasia", "Notorious" and "Gaslight". Oh--and Elizabeth Taylor in "A Place in the Sun", "Butterfield 8", and "Giant" .
I have been trying to find her movies someone recommended to me on you tube. I cant find them. Could someone tell me what movies she was in that are on You Tube or are none their?
Grace was a classic beauty...Her granddaughter Princess Charlotte (Carlotta) is also breathtaking...almost a mirrior image of her grandma...too bad she missed out on knowing her beautiful grandchildren.
Stunning, Grace is the goddess of beauty. Thanks for sharing

Oh my goodness....when she leans down to kiss James Stewart in Rear Window and it's in slow motion, I get palpitations. She was SO sexy.

@Toracube I think Rita Hayworth was Grace's equal in beauty!
Ironically, both were Princesses.

Good job...I would suggest however Tony Bennett's 1965 version is better....

@rustysruger I'll second that motion. Tony's is with out a doubt the best (and there are hundreds...)

Beautiful tribute! 5 stars. I wish Grace had done more movies with Cary Grant. They make such a lovely couple in To Catch A Thief.
And that slow motion kiss in Rear Window has to be one of the most breathless moments in cinema history. :)

That kiss at the door in the first frame, with Cary Grant, is the epitome of class:
not a put down, or a promise. Sweet and
elegant.
