I love everything apart from the dancing. I think it distracted from Hyde himself. Alive could work as a dance, as RedKingCommandz said, but I think it would work better as a seperate peice, because like I say, it distracted from Hyde. Other than that, brilliance :)

The individual pieces are excellent, but together they don't work to well. I would have made the dance much more twisted.

it should be noted that though I don't agree with the directors choice of making this song a dance. the dancers themselves (along with Hyde and Lucy) did a wonderfull job!

Hyde sings well, but doesn't bring a lot of energy to it (which is why I guess they decided they needed the horrid dancing to fill up the stage)...I loved this production's version of Confrontation because I've always thought Jekyll/Hyde should have been separate actors, but this scene isn't one of the show's high points in my opinion, even though it really should be.

I agree. It is rather weak where I feel he should be exultant. I feel this song is similar to the dance of the Bacchants in the Bacchae. But otherwise, I love this production of it. Confrontation and This is the Moment are well done.

what I kinda life about these kinda songs is when the soloist character (Hyde in this case) tromps around the stage by himself. the dancers kinda take away. but other than that it's flawless!!

I don't like it. The set is alright, and the signing and acting are great. However, this song is about Jekyll & Hyde, not about the entire cast dancing around in a way that does not fit the show...
