NBA 2K10 Draft Combine is a arcade game that is based on the NBA's draft picked players for the pre season games(the pre-season games started October 1st which would explain this game coming out first)

This game looks great. I think there really isn't a difference between the two live and 2k. I prob prefer Live because it feels like ur part of the game and also it is not possible to do dunks from the foul line in a real NBA game

you can just keep playing scrimmages.. that is pretty much it.. The good thing about that game is that once you finish the draft combine and have nba 2k10 you can continue your guy without having to start it new...The game was intended to be like a demo and to keep 2k fans "busy" while they wait for nba2k10

I bought the game off xboxlive and played it.. made my guy finished the drills etc.. and saved and uploaded my guy.. so when I get the original nba2k10 copy I can go to the career mode and just load up my created guy already instead of probably having to do it all over again..

Look...I have the game and I'm still confused. I guess once your done with all the training you can upload your player for a draft once the game comes out..but my question is..who cares about your player. i mean who buys an NBA game to be able to play with people that are not in the NBA? I think 2k really should have thought this out..unless i'm not seeing the full picture.

It's an extra feature. It's like an expansion pack to a RPG game. What's not to get? You can still play with normal NBA teams, but now, instead of just creating a player the normal way, you can imagine yourself as an actual rookie.
