I managed to cast lesser healing wave, whit my shaman, just spam it and sooner or later u can do it. As shaman u have only riptide, so the best combo i could come up whit is to try instant chainheal whit nature's swiftness, althoo im not sure if the bouncing works right in that part of the encounter.

The best way to DPS in P3 is the combo: 1-1-2

And before you use 2 then make sure you have 75 energy, for doing the shield IF he targets you.

It would depend on how comfortable your healers and tanks are. Strictly, only 1 tank is required, but there are 4 adds, each hits for a good amount and can bust out an instant spell as well, so it's on your healers to keep the tank alive through the punishment if you use 1 tank.

25 Feb 2009 we downed Malygos 25 men. Thanks for this vid!!! Has prepared the most of us for the fight and we did it right the first night we came there. Had 5 tries because people didn't fully get the last Fase completely yet.

man i hate this boss phase one and two we got down so easily i mean normally we can get him under 8mill b4 phase 2 with tht long burn even with over 4 min left and the on phase 3 we just start dropping like flies im ushually in last 5 to die we cant get 10 ppl getting there stacks high enough

then teach them how to play their drakes

- fly out of static field (clockwise or counterclockwise)

- stay together, the huge AoE heal doesnt have infinite range

- always watch chat log... and if the emote warns them they must build 2-3 (at least 2) combopoints ASAP and then use Flame Shield!

and if you wanna take less raid dmg, the drake should also fly about 10m out of the raid, and then return (as long als malygos is shooting him)

UPDATE last night we killed Malygos on 25 man

just do like slap says in the info tab. If you're unused to playing an energy class, use 4 combo points, count 3secs then Engulf. Rinse repeat.

If you play a rogue or dps druid and are confident wiht your control you can go as low as two combo points.

Other than that, stay together for the heal, move together out of static field and use the shield (5) when he actually starts firing on you.

We can easily get to phase 3 with 4 minutes remaining, and that's not trying for a 6 min run. Check out my video. Much slower speed and you can see the whole fight and time it yourself.

If Malygos is on 50% approximately 20secs after the third nexus and if you burn him to about 45-40% before he flies off, you won't have any problems except the drakes fail to use flame shield in phase 3

Ah I get it Adx, you're one of those butthurt Warhammer guys.

Malygos may be the strongest caster on Azeroth, however KJ is the current leader of the Legion, which has destroyed countless planets. There is no comparison. if Maly really was all that powerful he'd do like Archimonde did and just wave his hand and obliterate Dalaran. And KJ is even more powerful than Archimonde Now go troll some Warhammer vid or something.
