Hmm the animation is a great imitation of the simpsons unique style, Bravo for that!

But I really don't have much love for the voice-acting and script here. sorry, but it was very hit and miss.

Also, as this is an imitation, you should not use it as a showcase for the animators talent as the question of tracing and editing from actual simpsons episodes can raise. (For example, the father has the same body/face shape as homer, and the TV is playing an actual scene from the simpsons).

@ShadestarX Thanks. :) We don't have much control over the client's script. We give our input but they get to decide ultimately who says what and what the designs look like etc. Hopefully people can look at this and get an idea of what we do, and what we can do for them, and not judge us by our client's decisions for their personal piece.

@ShadestarX Yeah, it kills us that we had to use show footage for any part of this, but we wouldn't have met our deadline otherwise. Other than that (for anyone wondering) the characters were not traced and the father specifically wanted Homer's proportions as he is somewhat of a real life Homer (with a lot more hair!) :) We thought they did a good job with it, but we're not at all offended if people don't like the script/voices. We're trying to do our own stuff just for us hopefully soon.

@blackmoonenvy I don't see why people leave comments like this. In three weeks, one girl essentially animated one act of a Simpsons episode by herself. That would still be impressive even if it looked half as good as it does. This is not the Simpsons, it's a creative animated parody for a Bat Mitzvah featuring the Bat Mitzvah girl and her parents.
