  • Gene was a great man.

  • Thumbs up if you think Gene is the only person who should sing this song and nobody else!!! Nobody shall cover this song !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I am sure you can look this up on the internet somewhere, but Gene wrote this song and got the inspiration for it when he was the grand marshal in the Hollywood Christmas Parade... as he was going up the boulevard just ahead of Santa he could hear all the children saying "here comes santa claus, here comes santa!" It caught his ear and the rest is history. This is what sets the geniuses apart from the rest of us.

  • FYI..this movie is available on NETFLIX streaming format only. I'm watching it now.

  • Its 2 days away from halloween and im looking forward to Christmas:)

  • Even though it's not Christmas right now, I love this video. I have always liked Gene's rendition of this song and this is extra special with all the kids singing along with him. Very happy scene.

  • @elliott021 Gene really is the artist who "made" this tune. So you have a good ear. Charlie

  • Ahhh I love it. "here comes santY claus"

  • Gene Autry's Holiday music is what we always started our tree decorating and house decorating with. This song makes me all happy and starry eyed like a kid waiting for Santa. Thank you so much for posting it! I'm definitely going to have to see the movie. Would have loved to have shared it with my dad. :) Thank you!!

  • @divinydistant Thanks for the comment. I am very glad that you can enjoy it again. Merry Christmas. Charlie
