  • You think you know me

  • holy shit, you look like stevie richards!

  • @XUnknownX001 Michael Manna is Stevie Richards' real name.

  • whats wrong with your voice?

  • If you are hoping to use an on-board mic -- whether it be the cam's built-in mic or a Rode VideoMic -- when recording anything more than about 3 feet away, you are out of your mind. The Rode is good for REFERENCE audio (usually better than the cam's built-in mic). But if you're doing something professional, you'd want to sync it up with audio recorded much closer, using something like an H4N and a lav or boom mic or something similar, and used the sync'd audio, not the on-board/Rode audio.

  • will this mount on a canon vixia HF M30?

  • @IsaacGolle if that camera has a 3.5mm jack plugin for a microphone than it's an option to mount the mic on

  • Im expecting my mic in the mail this weekend! Nice hair by the way

  • Is a hissing sound in the background something normal for a Rode Videomic? I just bought one and the hissing sound is louder than what im saying. (Rode settings were on 10db)

  • wow, edge is doing reviews now?

  • Are you sure it is not 'low pass' position?

  • nice pool,.. palmtrees, sun,.. thats life! you want to change?

  • This helps a lot, thanks!

  • Great job again! I like that these are in real applications and not just some studio environment. Hope all is well, keep it up. -Ozzy-

  • Nice job Michael! Sounds amazing inside and out by the pool.

  • suprisingly clear at 50feet

  • Sounds really good great video.

  • Mouse pad. I need it now.

  • good test..

  • Sounds like a champ outdoors. Inside it doesn't handle the room well as I would like it too.

Can't wait to hear it on a day with less wind.

  • Yeah, indoors had a really hollow sound.

  • @DizzyDougTV its the way how the rooms acoustics are. Theres probably nothing on the walls due to sound.

  • WOW! when the wind dies down it still sounds amazing as 2 feet away. Looks like a really awesome mic.
