@twinengineshere : these are 2 touchpads (costumized for him) . He chooses articulations by pushing buttons. almost all composers of remote control production have these touchpads.

.. i dont know .... I think he uses pro tools for his studio recordings. During the orchestra recordings he sits in the control room and the mixers as well.
