  • Nice work Josh. You know, if you transcribed this you'd be in possession of probably the only version in the world. It's impossible to find transcriptions of the Segovia arrangement.

  • I was just searching something to get some inspiration what to make of this piece, because I'll have to present it in a few weeks... this was a lot more than I ever expected to find =)

    you're brilliant! well done

  • danke

  • *sigh* this is so beautiful, it makes me miss playing the cello, and trust me, i hardly ever miss it... fucking nightmare. but wow. all of the stuff you record is simply flawless and so lovely. bravo!

  • Very good playing! And the recording on the Zoom H2 sound very nice and smooth. You did the right recording settings with the Zoom.

  • I've heard many interpretations of this over the years and yours is one of the best. The combined strength and delicacy of your touch is wonderful.

  • i can play this

  • @Xelorater777 Oh? I'd love to see your rendition.

  • Damn, seems like I learnt the wrong arrangement....please could you point me to this TAB if you have it/know where it is? THANKS.

  • @Halfadrop hey- I'm not sure if theres tab out there for this, I learned it from watching Li Jie play it. You will recognize the video because she is the chinese girl in the pirate shirt with PERFECT technique. you'll hear her version and think "oh, so THAT'S how his version was supposed to sound".

  • damn I need to work on my right hand! well done!

  • Did you learn this from sheet music? Nice work!

  • @SamuelTJMartin Thanks!, no, I learned it from watching Li Jie's version right here on YouTube. I'll play a couple seconds, stop, rewind, repeat. This is how I learn most things.

  • well done Josh

  • Finally a guitarist on youtube with musicality because every time i hear this the player doesn't emphasize the crescendos and decrescendos

  • You amaze me! You seem to be able to play any type of music and at the highest level. Congratulations on another great video. I really enjoyed it and will, I'm sure, listen to it over and over again.

  • Thanks for posting, Josh, it's another example of your talent - it seems that as long as it's got frets, you'll play it, and play it well.

  • Wow it's not usual but it fits very well to the guitar, quite impressive ! Again thank you for your videos, I never get tired of them.

  • Nice playing man, love this tune !
