And ignore the haters. I picked up an '05 Boxster S for $24k last year and it's a great car. I'd have preferred a Cayman, but not for $10k more. The 987 is a better car than the bloated Carrera.
nice, 5 stars, but if it was top gear style the music would be some giant orchestra/choir type stuff, and the edges of the screen would all fade to black, the color and contrast would be all the way up, and a guy with a british accent would be pausing dramatically... ...and making everything sound cooler than it really is. anywho 5 stars
@disracenboi336 I am a boxster s owner my self and love it too i actually have a 2009 cayman s exhaust on mine and it sounds incredible, it supposedly cant be done but the head mechanic at the porsche dealership here in dallas and i fit it in there with minimum difficulty and it works beautifully
total cost with (25% tax), including all the extras on it: 88.000 euro. Bought as new. But optional Equipment is worth almost 20.000 Euro's, so basic price with tax about 67-68.000€
but put in the more money and make sure u get the "S" version, with at least PASM and maybe The sport exhuast also, depends on what u like in a car. If it's a "drivers car" u are looking for, then the Boxster is defently a great choise. U will not be disapointed.
If u just want engine power... then this is not the one.. for almost the same price, try an Audi RS4, or Merc C63 AMG, or BMW M3, or some crappy U.S Car?! Ask your local Porsche Dealer.
(lol) yeah GTavalanche2rider and me had a slight argument he was talking a load of crap about his volvo thrashing porsches, yeah me and my dad looked for a new car and we couldnt find a better roadster than the boxster s, it had everything build quality, looks, performance etc, we looked at a few 350z's, BMW M3's and slk's but they didnt feel as solid as the porsche i love the flat six engine note aswell!!!!!! as for the 2010 boxster s it looks incredible it kinda looks like a mini carrera gt!!!

The 2010 (launches 2009) Boxster will also get the PDK. But a new 998(carrera) and 988?!(boxster) will arrive in 2010 (as 2011 models) those will be wicked.
yeh ive recently heard more about the new model boxster S coming out apparently there going to have 310bhp and the 0-60 time in about 4.8 seconds so its going to be a scorcher and saying that the 998 will be incredible, ive been in a 997 carrera 4s before definetly feel a hell of alot of punch when the pedal's down there definetly getting quicker because the 996 carrera 4s feels about the same (performance wise) as the 987 S does now so the boxster is always about as quick as the 911 before it.
my old mans got one of these in carrera gt silver and has the same 19 inch carrera s alloys looks real nice and drives perfect, its a great car, this new shape is the best yet, i love it.
