Pedophiles are only 1% of sex offenders on the registry in america. The laregest percentage are teens, and adults who had concentual sex with teens.

You, your family, friends, and children are more likely to fall prey to predatory sex laws than to a pedophile, or a rape.

If you want to see arcane punishments employed on your own children for having consentual sex as a teen with another teen, or as an adult with a consentual teen, then by all means support it.

Can I say the obvious? If a pedophile wants to molest a child, it doesnt matter if he/she lives 1,001 feet from a school, day care, etc., he/she will molest a child. That law when it was in effect (it has since been changed) only gave a false sense of security and left the offender with very little hope of change and seeking a better life. i am glad Ga changed this law. But new considerations need to be made in having to register for life. Especially for first time offences.
