The back of the Jaguar XJ is dis-proportionate. However its the most Luxurious car in its segment. Beyond Comparison to Mercedes Benz S Class and Bavarian Motor Works. Interior is loaded with Technology.

Test drove one right after I test drove a new Mercedes S400 Hybird AND 7 Seris BMW. This car was very impressive and less cost. I never thought I would want a Jag until I got into the XJL. My mind is made up.......

This all new XJ Jaguar is a stunner!!! Gorgeous, smooth sexy lines! I want to see the dual screen in the front where the driver can see the navigation and the passenger sees a movie!! This new Jaguar is Brilliant!

The first picture I've saw was the 3/4 back and i've tought "Is this the new Lexus GS?!" After that shock i've saw the from which is breth taking...! Interior is quite good too, with loads of italian supercars details, complemented with acres of wood to link this car to it's previous generations. Personaly, I would give 8 out of 10 in design, they should have done much better to it's rear design...!

Terrible design. There should have been a strick limit on "The Contemporary". They have totally lost the plot here. Front snout like a Volvo, side profile not too unlike a Citroen C6 with big deep doors like a Lexus and a fat aresed rear like some lardy American Cadillac or Chrysler. Too many angles, doesnt flow. It's no different to a BMW or Merc now. Very disappointed. The X308 and Series 3 will live on as the most beautiful saloons Jaguar have produced in my opinion.

I advise you to take a look at the Mercedes CLS (2004), the BMW E60 M5 (2005) and the Audi S6 (2006). Many years older thn the new XJ, but german perfection at its best, I'd say Jaguar is yeeears behind. But that's just my opinion of course.

German perfection? That's just a stereotype. I rode on a German ship the other day, it was hardly well built, or looked as if it had any care taken into building it at all.

Whereas the Queen Mary II is a British ship, which is perfect. The Jaguar XJ is the same comparison.

Years behind? Those shit cars you mentioned have ANALOGUE tacho's. This has a completely computerised tacho and an interior. Does yours? No.

Well, that's your opinion thn, just keep in mind these cars are at least 5years older compared to the XJ.

As for the ships, they are not cars!

And I'd say, the fact that you call german cars 'shit cars' says enough. Please visit your nearest Mercedes museum and look at what the car industry of today has got thanks to that brand.
