This was awesome! I haven't watched the anime, for the sole reason that I've read volume 1 of the manga, and I want to read the whole manga series before I actually watch the anime. Still, it's so romantic! (Can't trump Romeo X Juliet, but, then again, I've just read one volume!)

They are. This anime was created by an all female animation team called CLAMP. They're the ones who created Cardcaptors, too. Tsubasa is an anime based on the same characters from Cardcaptors, but in a complete alternate reality. Which is why the characters look the same from both animes & have the same name.
