Very nice spiders <3 I'm guessing you can't handle a majority of them? And I just had a question - are they alright living in such small confines, like the ones in the cups? I'm not at all trying to be rude or implying that you're not providing them with adequate space or anything like that, I'm just wondering because I don't know much about keeping tarantulas. sosiak565 here. Take a tall cup and scoop her up with a paintbrush and slowly touch the abdomen to bring her out. Do this in an open area, they are extremely fast. I made videos on my Jon3800 account on how to rehouse one.

@1970chance. Im the owner of this channel so I'll answer your question.

There's 2 ways to determine the sex:

1) You can wait till it molts and sex it then, its by far the most accurate method.

2) Wait till your T climbs up on the glass and sex it from underneath the abdomen.

In part, I made two videos on how sex tarantulas. You need to look at the abdomen.

Male: If the first pair of booklungs are close apart, and has this distinct upside U

Female: Further apart, has a slit, no U

I'm also the owner of this account. Its hard to sex slings with 100% accuracy. You have to check for a sperm sac between the first and second pair of booklungs. I have 2 very detailed videos on how to sex them

its pretty potent, you will feel a great deal of pain if you get bitten.  Some people think its necessary to visit the hospital. You need about 6-8 inches of substrate in their as they're burrowers

I was wondering if any of you could answer my question, I have had an avicularia avicularia (pinktoe) for awhile now but it has started to have difficulties climbing the glass. He keeps falling down and im rather worried about him. Could anyone tell me why and how to help this?

generally when i see that happening it means their dying.but with out actually seeing it that might not be the case i have also seen this happen if it is way to humid in the cage like water droplets sticking to the side.also i have noticed they have a hard tome sticking to sterilite containers if thats what it is in.

All Tarantulas are poisionous.

I think you mean are n't they venomous? Yes, all tarantulas have some degree of venom, some worse than others such as the tarantulas that reside in Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia.

The ones you see in this video, their venom ranges fom very weak (the pinktoes) to average (the rest)

Most of the beginner species have weak venom, similar to a bee sting. The old world species (Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe) will put you in the hospital

the first arboreal you showed is hosed really nice. i love the greens and just the who tank is set up really nice. i have an avicularia minatrix and i was wondering where did you get the arboreal tank? and how do you keep the trees from getting moldy.

The arboreal tank is custom made. I bought a ordinary 5 gallon tank, flipped it on its side and put a plexiglass never the cover so the substrate doesnt fall when the cover is open. The tree leaves in my versicolor cage are fake so I don't need to worry about them. To prevent them from becoming moldy, don't miss their cages too too often
